Cubs have a winning record two weeks in. Now that Bryant and Russell are in the majors, will this continue or will it be yet another Last-in-the-NL-Central season?

Maddon likes to do it with the Cubs, not quite sure why but I think it's to have the opportunity to let the top of the order hit after somebody who's more likely to get on base than the pitcher. He does that almost every single day, whereas it's situational for the other managers.

I've got to say, Manfred summed it up perfectly: he said that with the DH in the NL, we would not have had the entertainment of Bartolo Colon this season.

I think it's fine to have the two use different systems, but I think some standard should be established for the World Series instead of just basing it off which team is at home.

(FYI 2017 is going to be your year, 2018 too, to win the World Series, but once you have to legitimately pay the pitchers more than MLB minimum you won't want to do that)

Neither the Dodgers nor the Nationals will make the NLCS. The Rockies will make it to the World Series and get swept by (probably) Cleveland.

It’s relatively expensive though, which sucks, but we gave away very little meaningful talent. Neither of the prospects were names I recognized (as a Yanks fan) and Castro was likely going to be out of a starting job with Gleyber coming up.
