hi guys. back from my hols now.
Not liking the roleclaim, why would an investigative role out themselves under no pressure on day 1 even if they do show guilty if investigated?ShowAs Town: 3/8

Some further thoughts,
Billy is not the lynch for today, if he is lying scum then we should be able to nail him when he slips up whilst passing on his info on what he stole from who. The worst case scenario for us, is if he is actually the role he claims to be, but it is a mafia aligned role. We will have to keep that possibility in mind.ShowAs Town: 3/8

Yes I'm a zombie, but I am town aligned. I am not much better than a vanilla. I can pick someone each night and try to eat their brains, but i only have a small chance of succeeding. I don't have exact figures on my success chance. Whether it's 1% 5% or 20% is unknown by me. I assume I was included in the write up because I tried to exercise my ability. I targeted zindaras.ShowAs Town: 3/8

Ok. Firstly I started out as a zombie, this is not a result of night one actions. Secondly my role pm seems quite clear. There is a very low probability of my attack succeeding. If i was supposed to know the exact percenatge involved I assume that information would ahve been included so i saw no reason to pester the mod about it. I have had a look at the linked threads on post 1, but I found it very hard to make head from tail in them. If anyone can point to actual role explanations witihin those threads I would be grateful. Finally, my only reason for targeting zindaras was for the aceiks lynch. I am suspicious of everyone who remained on aceiks after his claim. Going from the mod's lynch post, I know it looks like i was on him, but if you check I unvoted after his claim - too late apparently, but I did try to get off of him.ShowAs Town: 3/8

I have been a zombie the entire game, I wasn't turned during the game. I can try and eat someones brains each night. There is only a small chance this will succeed. What I don't know is what happens if I succeed. Does the person die? or do they become a zombie? I don't know. I sort of thought of my self as a vig with only a slight chance of success but now I'm beginning to wonder if a successful attack would spread the zombieness.ShowAs Town: 3/8

I think both aceiks and billy's claims made them unlynchable for night one. Becasue both their claimed roles involved passing on information in one way or another, they are (were in aceiks case) testable. Hence I think people should have moved theior votes after the claim.
And yes, you have to eat brains, and presumably a successful attack on your part will pass on the zombie curse, but if alignment and abilities remain unaffected, then in the long run does it matter?ShowAs Town: 3/8

OK, thanks for the clarification just a cleric. What I don't yet know is if I can choose to not eat brains on a given night, I am awaiting resolution on this point. If i have to attempt to eat brains every night then it might be best to get rid of me. I am quite surprised to have succeeded in my 1st attempt, as I believe my chances of success are low.ShowAs Town: 3/8

Ok. I must target someone each night. Had I realised, I would have volunteered for the chop in day 1. As I have already passed this compulsion on, then we could be in trouble.ShowAs Town: 3/8

Because I had so many other ways available of arguing my alignment? The only way I have of absolutely proving my pro-townness is to be lynched. Which may well be a good idea to keep the zombie numners under control.ShowAs Town: 3/8

I agree we should be focusing on the Billy/HurriKaty situation. The chances of one of them being scum seems quite high to me - dependant on what exactly has prompted Hurrikaty's change of heart. The 3 most likely scenarios that spring to mind for me are.
1. HurriKaty is lying scum trying to get Billy lynched.
This does not seem likely as a lynch on Billy that came up innocent would almost certainly result in a subsequent HurriKaty lynch
2. HurriKaty has access to information we don't and has correctly pegged Billy as scum
Don't know how to assess the likeliness of this without more info from HurriKaty as to why the attack
3. HurriKaty has access to information which has led to a mistaken opinion on Billy's scumminess.
Again without knowing what information HurriKaty has, I don't know how to assess this.
I would not be too keen on lynching either Billy or HurriKaty without more information. Would you be willing to expand on your Billy info Hurrikaty?
Alternatively we could lynch Pariah to test Billy's info, but his objects could turn out to be misleading, so I am not too keen on this idea.- WhoMe?

At this point I'm beginning to think forcing an explanation via voting may be the way forwardBillyTwilight wrote: Really, I think that I need a complete explanation for HK'' actions at this point. It might help us understand this game better, anyway.

Uhh...you wanna run that one by me one more time? Why do we have to let Scum live? I thought in order to win, we had to make Scum die. Why should we give Scum the opportunity to live and lie at us more?[/quote]UltimaAvalon wrote:

we're a long way from lynch yet. A vote is just a vote. It's not like I hammered the guy, but my thinking was, if HK's info is correct then we have found a lie. I figure that's worth a voteShowAs Town: 3/8

we're going to lynch someone. We want to hit scum, or failing that, get a lynch that provides info. We have Billy who has claimed info on Pariah who has in turn been denounced by HK. A Billy lynch therefore gives us info on both Pariah and HK, and if HK is right bags us a scum as well.ShowAs Town: 3/8

If we are not concerned about zombieness, I would be OK with aBillylynch. if we ARE concerned about zombieness, then we would be best lynching either myself orzindaras. I know I am town, so if we are voting based on zombieness I will be going with a vote onzindaras.
Question is, are we concerned about a zombie plague?ShowAs Town: 3/8

Because either you're scum aligned and we gain that way, or in the unfortunate case where you're town aligned we get info we can use to look at Pariah and HK. This isn't to say that I am married to lynching you and will push it to high heaven, it's just that I can't see a better way forward at the moment. If everyone decides we need to control the zombie population, then my vote will change.ShowAs Town: 3/8

in the refernced game, it enhanced the ability of whoever he targeted. In the original role the teacher believed his power only enahnced the person that night, but it was permanent.ShowAs Town: 3/8
