Once you're out of a game, you can't come back in.
That's generally up to the Mod's discretion, but I'd say >95% of the time this is the case. I don't think there's a sitewide rule prohibiting this, though things could've changed. I've played in one or two games where it has happened. I would strongly discourage the practice of letting dead players replace back into games, however. Check with your Mod, winds.

I need both right now! Right now, SEs are in proportionally lower supply, so I'll add you as an SE, but I'll run out of ICs in the near future, and those tend to be harder to find.
