For the first challenge, all players competed to finish jigsaw puzzles as quickly as possible! In the end, Shakira, Simba, and Frenchie won and became captains of the new tribes!

I'm going to make a really long post talking about how much I enjoyed this and how amazing everyone was after I recover from staying up till 6 in the morning last night because of afterprom. So many people surprised me, and I loved it, I'm so happy that especially Drench, Mist, and Reck all got a chance to shine as the awesome people they are. <3 But ELOs!

Nope, but a newbie won Hogwarts, and TWO newbies made it to the final three in Conclave. It was just something about this game, really. I think the difference might be that the newbies who do well generally spectate a game first.

But I agree with Axxle's latest post, in an anonymous game, people aren't going to commit to an alliance with you if they know nothing about you. It is a social game, after all, but you're right that the game doesn't get into high levels of strategy until a couple weeks in, after everyone has figured out who they want to trust.

Yeah, I apologize this game didn't turn out to be as newbie friendly as I had hoped. I thought with less twists, it'd be easier to get familiar with how everything works, but that didn't work out and it just ended up making a lot of Veterans bored too.

That looks like a horrible idea, what kind of loser would mod that with you?

Me and Drench talked about a Survivor game where every time you vote for the person who is voted out at that Tribal Council, the value of your vote is cut in half. So the longer a majority alliance exists, the less power any of its members actually have, unless they just keep splitting the vote, which makes things even more likely to be messed up!
