It actually looks like a significantly better draft format than MM1 to me. The archetypes seem less "obvious". Less just "take all cards of a tribe. Deck is done" and more synergistic. I'm really looking forward to it, although I'm disappointed in the lack of a couple reprinted uncommons/commons.jdodge1019: hasjghsalghsakljghs is from vermont

I'd be fine with it if packs were still just $7, but at $10 a pack, I'm not interested in paying $40 for less value than MMA, even if the draft format seems cool(BG Eldrazi represent!).Current Avatar: Dr. Contessa(OC, art by @pastelpuffin)- Thestatusquo

There are 9 rares that are worth more than a dollar. 9. As opposed to 30 in MM1.
There are 4 uncommons in modern masters 2 worth more than 3$. 1 worth over 5$.
The mythics are better since there is only one brick as opposed to like 5, but this set, as a set designed to mitigate high prices and reprint things that need it is an unmitigated failure. Absolutely horrendous.
And they're charging MORE.tout comprendre c'est tout pardonner- Natirasha

Shit, I'd have even taken Goblin Guide with an absolutely un-necessary rarity bump to Mythic over Comet Storm. Or Warren Instigator. Or Urabrask the Hidden. Or even just a big Timmy dragon like Balefire Dragon or Kargan Dragonlord or... SOMETHING. Hell, find a bullshit reason to put Thundermaw Hellkite in.- Oman

Hey Shea/others who play Legacy, I have $700 in store credit to CapeFear, and have been PucaTrade'ing my way into a mono-B Reanimator for Legacy. If I want to upgrade the deck to something more powerful, would I be better off going TinFins or regular Reanimator? For either of those, am I better off buying the lands or the Force of Wills first?- Natirasha

That is one hundred percent shitty advice for sustainable legacy play. FoW is going to go in just about 70% of legacy decks, whereas the lands will not, and in a deck that cares about its life total as little as reanimator does shocklands are way closer to duals than forces are to dazes in a deck that completely dies to hosers.
In terms of which deck to play? I think that's mainly personal preference. I find tin fins to be more fun to play but reanimator is objectively the better deck (based off of tournament results in the last few years.)
But, like I said, forces are one of those cards you're going to have to pick up eventually if you want to play legacy even a little bit seriously. I'd suggest you do so.tout comprendre c'est tout pardonner- Oman

Bought cards, moved, didn't know anyone and didn't want to learn at FNM. Also they moved onto a new set or whatever while I was moving. gamestore guy didn't think to tell me that those cards were going to be non-valid in two months. It's unfortunate that good oral sex excuses bad chemistry. - Korts- Klazam

My thing is more trying to get a deck that I'll really enjoy. I'm still living in the middle of nowhere, and likely continuing on with said middle-of-nowehereness for the next year. I'd like to have a functional Legacy deck just so I can play in whatever format tourneys happen to be going on. I'm thinking the Forces and Fetches plan (along with the Opals I need for Modern) are going to be my purchase to put together Reanimator with the stuff I already have.
Only downside for me is that they only have 2 English and 1 Spanish Force, and no Entombs, which I need either way. Gonna hit up ebay for that and pick up a 4th Daze to fill in for the 4th Force until I do.- Thestatusquo
