(n.) : a protagonist or notable figure who is conspicuously lacking in heroic qualities

This game is themed around the Anti-hero archetype. This game will feature Anti-heroes from literature, movies, television, and comics (and may or may not contain any of the three characters pictured above).

This is a 13 player mini theme. No jesters, cults, or any other bastard mod stuff, though. I'll be accepting 6 pre-/ins.

Help! Invaders are threatening your cell! Take control of a eukaryotic cell and see if you have what it takes to survive in the harsh world of microbiology.

A basic knowledge of cell biology/microbiology will help you appreciate the flavor but is not necessary to play the game. There is 1 Serial Killer, 2 Mafia, and 6 Town players. The mafia may or may not have a factional kill and/or power roles. One completed on-site game is a pre-requisite. Limit of one hydra. Accepting 4 pre-/ins

Due to moderator error and an unfortunate accident, it seems that I've reduced the last round of Antihero Mafia to a quantum singularity.

But, never fear; I'm writing up a new set-up with different antiheroes (currently being reviewed by hitogoroshi). I may or may not have used similar roles as the last round (gotta' love the mod WIFOM!).

So, if you missed this game the first time, now is a good chance to /in! PM me for details.

Is it balanced? Is it fair? Do you have a snowball's chance in hell?

I don't know.

There's 3 scum and 6 town. One of the scum is a scum traitor, and, of course, the 2 regular scum will not know who s/he is. While it's not bastard by any stretch, there's a lot of potential for nightkill choices to result in a spectacular display of hilarity.

sequel to Antihero Mafia: REBOOT. in the spirit of redemption, some characters may return from the original (the one that imploded; yes...
that
one). these characters are not guaranteed to have the same role and/or alignment they did in the first one though.

there aren't any bastard mechanics or roles. 13p. 3:10 scum: town. day start. i
am
allowing hydra.

it'll probably be a while (like maybe a month or two) in the queue, so i guess plan accordingly.

SCIENCE UPICK


13p mini theme. 3 scum:10 town, singleball, no bastard stuff.

hydras are allowed but they have to have 2 heads and no secret hydras
2 completed non-newbie, on site games are a requirement (not negotiable)

when you /in or pre-/in send me a list of 3 things from science you would want as a role. "things" can be scientists (real or imaginary), equations, formulas, theories, concepts, elements, really anything. i'd prefer it if you stuck w/ hard sciences since that's what i'm familiar with and can probably give you a role that better suits your choice, but i can read up on social science stuff (just don't make it too much of a stretch)
