I didn't even know we had those permissions!

For real though, Kayak Moment isn't good. It's similar to EWHD because it became a thing by people trying and failing to make it a thing. Plus yeah the scummie's going away.

Well, no. It's poking fun at N for repeatedly making Kayak a thing for someone else. This is specifically
not
giving Cheery Dog a title for that, it's giving something to N for continuing to push it.

We just need N to keep winning Kodak Moment for a few more years, until he's lodged in the site's consciousness as the guy who keeps winning it. (But with that said, I don't think it's that bad if a scummie gets immortalized. He won it in the first place because he did something the site recognized.)

Kayak Moment is a lot more like Accept When He Does - it's a title based on a controversial title nom that got rejected and keeps resurfacing.

I pretty much agree with anything Ether's said in any post she's ever made in the entire history of the site, so just pretend I quoted all of her posts and said "QFT" if that's more convincing. She words things more eloquently than I do.

I guess this part is fair, Vi's title still exists.

Vi's title still makes me mad. And by "mad" I mean "slightly irritated to the extent that a title on here can achieve"

Honestly I like Professor Paragon. It has a fun tapdancing lion-tamer astronaut princess vibe to it, or something.

Sorry, DRK, I know you just said I was eloquent.

It has a "these are two scummies that were given and then removed years and years ago even though everyone else gets their scummies for only one year" vibe to me.

Pretty sure Vi was the only person to simultaneously win both those Scummies. That alone is title worthy in my opinion.
If someone won Paragon AND Don Corleone in the same year that would also be title worthy, regardless of whether those scummies existed in future years.

Glork's title is semi-scummy based, isn't it?

It'd be one thing if it were Paragon Don Corleone, right? The two top individual awards. But winning two awards that others haven't shouldn't qualify one for permanent hall of fame status.

You get the scummy box for a year, but the fact that you won a scummy is part of site history forever.
