Come on Nic. Surely you agree with me on this: The Lighthouse Gem has no place being part of the town.

Don't put too much emphasis on flavour. It will lead you down a bad path. I don't know much/anything about Steven Universe, but I can tell you there are reasons to believe TW is town.

Also, check out Space Dandy mafia where Varsoon made Jonny (leader of an evil empire) a town flavour.

Varsoon despises attempts to break games with mass claims, and puts systems in place to counter its effectiveness. I believe this is one of those cases.

Also, whack a hefty FOS on everyone who has supported wagons on both Frogger and Mastin. There is no way competing daystart flash wagons are both on scum.

This includes but may not be limited to: Farside and Cooldog.

Cooldog also bemoans town apathy, but from what i've seen the majority of players are engaged with the game and no one is doing more than him to spread the seeds of apathy.

Read up a fair bit during the night phase. Max, Fuzzy, Cooldog each have a very good chance of being scum. Can lynch any of them barring a redeeming claim. Fuzzy's claim is not redeeming.

Farside - Blocked by Frogger. There seems to be some debate about this but it makes her pretty categorical town imo.

He was at L-1 for a period and is still at L-2. Lack of claim is likely due to him not having his fakeclaim prepared. Town tends to claim much quicker when faced with imminent lynch. Or at least make a statement about how it's

What i'm worried about, Hermit, is you flipping town.

This is lylo now, and it's odd that i'm being accused for

not

instant hammering. I don't think it's unreasonable for me to want to figure things out for myself.

Assuming mastin is town, that means scum missed a pretty colossal opportunity for a mislynch back on D3 before the quad scum lynch. And Frogger was clearly on the ball because he instant hammered himself to cut off alliances.

There's some other circumstantial reasons to suspect mastin...

How did TW declare with certainty that RR is bulletproof? She accurately used her rolecop shots on me and mastin.

Despite crumbing IC on D1 she is still alive in lylo. Peridot got an extra in SF, that only works on humans. They used this shot on vezokpiraka of all people. This was pretty oddball at the time. Perhaps he was the only person scum knew was a human. Except, TW has already rolecopped mastin at this time, who claims to be Connie (ie a human). Why kill vezok instead of mastin?

The no-kill last night...This makes far more sense from scum-mastin than scum-Hermit imo.

And yes, i'm aware that to consider mastin as scum I have to defeat the very logic that has been preventing my mislynch since D4, and no I don't have an answer for that right now.

What I keep coming back to, is the hood. Varsoon likes his main characters, and hates mass claims. The N4 strongman was meant to be a punishment for Steven claiming too early, not an auto death. This is stronger than any reason to suspect mastin.

Ftr RR, i'm not the one blocking the PT and i'm sorry Varsoon uses the awful policy of blocking PTs. We have an awesome 75 page scum PT and it sucks that you won't be able to view it.

As for your masonry logic ... since when are ICs designed to live longer than N4, let alone lylo. I'm surprised no one else really questioned this logic at any point in the game.

As I brought up with Varsoon already, my only issues with this game were the shitty fakeclaims and Vez/Beer being flavour confirmed to each other. If anything it felt a bit scumsided if you fix those two small things, but a lot of towns powerful roles died early so maybe not.

I'm glad we won, I was terrified of another night with no kill possible after that kill on mastin failed.

I am not fucking with them. I've just had a kill unexpectedly fail and i'm legitimately concerned the same will happen again tonight. Clearly RR was able to protect mastin, so i'm currently having a punt at drawing this protection away from mastin. Not expecting much, but might as well try, I figure.

It's an incredibly weak power in town hands. Scum are more interested in killing things like investigatives (Skybird) and protectives (Nic) and Steven. Hermit also has a blatantly anti town attitude, he's the type of player you look at when you're scum and say "I want this guy around in lylo". I think it's fair to speculate that scum would not ever kill a town-Hermit in this game.

We were going to test you, but the way Constantine played the day, he tipped the scales. You guys were probably both pretty even in our minds for a long time. In our original planned lynch order, you came before him even. But his play was just so scummy today. You did a good job. Playing as the last scum, especially for a few weeks, is really quite a lot more mentally taxing than people realize until they're doing it. Playing it to a win is super satisfying. Enjoy it. I know I enjoyed the hell out of winning SMITE.

- Pro tip. Plays are only scummy when the player ends up being scum. You can't go around using that as an excuse for mislynching, but I think I know where you are trying to come from.

This is true, the onus is on the IC to make the correct decision in a lylo situation. However this does not excuse your lack of effort for the majority of the game.
