The last few games have had a healthy amount of first timers, but not really a great amount of returning first timers. The system is set up for growth, but certain factors are killing any form of sustainment of that growth.
And I agree with Reck on the point that there is a demand for games in the 12-16 games in terms of mods, its just swept under the current 20+ player influx.
With the queue as new as it is though, I don't think adding a second one will help anyone. I would also argue that interest levels are dropping regardless of activity. We can easily get to a point where the current player base can support more than one queue, it might just take a bit of time with focus on the smaller games (mole, solitary, bb, w/e). Having a varied game list brings in more people that would otherwise not think to join a survivor game. A small stepping stone to help with an already large barrier to entry.
I think something to consider is that there may be a heightened interest from some people seeing a smaller starting number. I can see extra people signing up with a smaller game size, especially if it's their first or second game or just if 24 is too much of a time commitment at the time. I'm curious to see what 2 16 player games running side by side would bring. I also wonder how many people would play in both!-

I am sorry if it seemed like I was trying to take away from the player base or anything like that. I was doing my best to avoid asking anyone from MS if they wanted to play in a game that I am running offsite. I advertised everywhere I knew that I could before asking anyone from MS and I made sure that I did not advertise anything onsite. Not once did I advertise on the site. I asked twice in a skype chat if anyone was interested in an offsite aim game. I asked no one to advertise for me, and only asked anyone from MS after I was a player short after sign ups for my offsite game concluded.-

There are rules towards not advertising onsite to certain offsite things. I would argue that any advertisement on mafiascum to an outside Survivor game would also fall under this.

I've actually apologized a number of times for it, mostly privately, because I'm not someone who likes to discuss drama in public.
I am sorry that this is coming across as an attempt to snipe players from this playerbase, it wasn't my intention, and if it hurt anything, I am sorry for that. Did not mean it in that way. I was desperate for a player and I knew of a skype chat that had a bunch of people that liked Survivor. I've been fairly out of the loop in MS Survivor since I was banned from Arkham, and really I didn't know when games were happening or anything, I had assumed it was like the middle of Arkham and it wouldn't affect anything except give someone a chance to have fun with some Survivor. Really I just didn't consider that it might affect a community and I'm sorry about that. I just wanted to have fun and hopefully let others have fun.-

Pending on when you want to do this, I would also like to run either a one to two night Skype Survivor or Marathon Survivor game! Possibly an anonymous AIM based survivor game (still just a one night thing)-

Sorry to go off topic with this, but I'm having lots of inquiries on the possible one night survivor game thing. I would very much so appreciate people's thoughts on what they would prefer for a game like this! Whether it be run over skype, or on AIM and the game be anonymous, or even just completely run on the board (might be slightly difficult!).
Also, I don't know what days and times work best for everyone! I am open to any time, and have left a space for ideal hours in the form.

We're redoing this after a recent finding! apologies! Instead of AIM, we would be using a site called Discord: https://discordapp.com/
It's a no download thing that's easy for me as a host to control, easy for y'all to interact, and easy for everyone to make group stuff. Basically it seems better than chatzys and less annoying than AIM!
So new form is Anon on Discord VERSUS Non Anon on Skype!

Results of this so far is most choosing Anon on Discord tied with Either! I'll leave it open until tonight! If you have differing opinion, come on in and give us some notes. (really happy about the large response so far though!!)-
