I am sorry if it seemed like I was trying to take away from the player base or anything like that. I was doing my best to avoid asking anyone from MS if they wanted to play in a game that I am running offsite. I advertised everywhere I knew that I could before asking anyone from MS and I made sure that I did not advertise anything onsite. Not once did I advertise on the site. I asked twice in a skype chat if anyone was interested in an offsite aim game. I asked no one to advertise for me, and only asked anyone from MS after I was a player short after sign ups for my offsite game concluded.

When said skypechat happens to contain a huge portion of the playerbase, how else would you describe the advertising? You didn't say anything about it being AIM related or how close to full it was. Just that you had an offsite survivor that you were desperate to fill. Even if that was not your intention, that is how it looked. When most people tend to only play one of these games at a time, it DOES have an effect on other games going. There's a reason why we don't run games concurrently, and that's why. So to know that you have a game coming up in queue and to hear that someone else is asking the same pool of players you have access to if they want to play in their game, would make anyone rather upset. When it seems like you're going to have enough trouble getting your game to fill as it is and then you hear that someone else is getting players you were hoping to get, how else would you respond? Whether your intention or not, that's how it seemed. I do so hope your game goes well without too many problems :).

If someone from this site messaged me about joining in an offsite survivor game that needs a few more people to fill, I wouldn't care and would likely help out. If that person was pandering to all of the MS playerlist to play in an offsite game that turned out to be mostly MS players.... then thats crossing the line.

Yeah, I'm not sure of the whole situation, and I apologize if it seems like I just assumed Jason was acting spitefully. I don't think there was any malice involved. Some of this is just a culmination of feeling like I don't belong in the community, combined with seeing Flameaxe treated in a way that made me feel uncomfortable.

My intent was never to antagonize anyone nor do I want to see anyone leave the site. I just wanted to know why someone I care deeply about was being antagonized, repeatedly.

I really don't think anyone was trying to do anything assholish, nor do I think anyone was trying to intentionally vilify anyone out of malice. I wish everyone could come and talk about their differences and have the opportunity to explain themselves, rather than assuming things about other people, and that we truly listen to each other. I just ask that next time we actually talk about what the heck is wrong, and I don't think that's a lot to ask. That is all I want, and I truly apologize if I made anyone uncomfortable or seemed to have any other motive in my posting.

Everyone here I've played with is really great and each brings something special and unique to the table, I truly believe. I think that's all I have to say.

Yeah that's a lot of what was going on here I think from all parties involved.

I do have to agree that it's a real shame that anyone ever feels like they aren't wanted or that leaving might make solve the problem. I think the fact it's gotten to that point for some people means we should probably be doing something to try to fix this somehow. Because that's not okay. It's supposed to be a good nice accepting and inclusive place. And if it's not, then something needs to change somehow.

Yes!

If I can manage to install the game into my current computer, I'd probably make out a crap banner. (although the screen I've use should actually exist on the internet already.
