Who will get rich and get out?

Your Mission:

The aim of the game is to get a question right, find some cash, and make a big decision -- stay inside the safe and play for more, or take the money and run.

Game Play:

The game is played in three rounds. In each round 60 seconds is on the clock. Each question takes six seconds off the clock, meaning each round will have ten questions.

When the clock starts, contestants will PM me their answer. After 24 hours have passed, or once all contestants PM me an answer, I will roll a die to determine who will answer. If the answer is incorrect and another contestant can give an answer, I will re-roll to determine who is next to answer. A correct answer allows the contestant to choose one of 25 vaults. Any money found is placed in their case, and that contestant is then given the choice whether to remain in the safe or leave the safe with what they have.

End of Round:

When the clock expires, one contestant is eliminated based on the following criteria:

  1. If all contestants have left the safe, the contestant that left with the least amount of money is eliminated.
  2. If only one contestant is inside the safe, that contestant is eliminated regardless of how much money he has.
  3. If two or more contestants are inside the safe, the contestant that has the least amount of money is eliminated. In addition, the surviving contestants that were inside the safe will lose all the money they earned in that round.

Ties:

Should there be a tie, a tie-breaker question is given and the first person to buzz in and give the correct answer moves on.

New Round:

When a new round starts, the remaining contestants re-enter the safe with their case and all the money they won from the previous rounds.

Winner:

The winner is the contestant who leaves the safe with the most money at the end of the final round.

I have no idea, so let's just go with the first mint brand that came into my head. (I don't eat mints, so I don't pay attention)

Crown.

I'm sorry, that's incorrect!

I don't know about you guys, but they always seem to bring back 1.

So, Tatsuya Kaname from now on can we use the more reliable random.org and post our rolls here instead?

But on to more important things - xRECKONERx, welcome to round 2! You may sit and relax as we find out which 2 players will be joining you.

Aronis and Cheery Dog - $2,500 is the target number. Let's find out who's going through!

Big decision on your hands right here! I'll give you all the details...You can stay and try to increase your score. However, if Cheery Dog answers correctly, he will be given the opportunity to leave
even if he picks a vault containing $0
. So basically if both of you are in for the final question, whoever gets it right first moves on to Round 2.

Of course your other option is to leave right now and see if Cheery Dog can beat or tie your score.

What do you think?

Welcome to Round 2 players! As we take a look at the scores, reck is leading with $3,500. However, puzzledan and Aronis are right on his heels! We've refilled the vaults with another $25,000 to take! In addition, five vaults contain the word STEAL. If you manage to find one of these vaults, you may take one bundle of cash from the opponent (who hasn't left the safe yet) of your choice.

With all that in mind, let's play the Bank Job!

Start the clock!

Question 1 of 10 - What is the name of a large, often iron and wood, gate at the main entrance of a castle?
