: This game is bastard. I make no guarantee for game balance, role balance, or your sanity. However, the mod will never lie to you.

Special mechanics

PERCENT

: All players start with NO %. If you gain %, you are considered to have %. If a player with % gains %, they die. This does not affect lynches in any way; lynching does not inflict %. % is only inflicted by specific abilities or scenarios that inflict %. You will be notified if you receive %.

HITSTUN

: During the night phase, if a player receives hitstun from two different sources, they are roleblocked. Your hitstun resets to 0 at the end of every night phase.

There may be exceptions to these mechanics within individual role PMs.

General rules

Sitewide rules and guidelines apply.
Do not quote or link to anything cannot be freely accessed everybody else reading the thread. This includes all private communication with the mod and quicktopics.
Discussion about this game is only allowed to happen within this thread unless especially told otherwise via your role pm.
Do not use excessive formatting in your posts; this includes tags and other items which will affect readability of the game. Spoiler= tags are allowed however plain Spoiler tags are not.
Once revealed as dead, you are not allowed to post in thread, this includes any “Bah!” posts, until endgame where I have declared the winner.
Prods will be issued to those not posting in the thread for 48 hours, without declaring V/LA either bolded in thread, via pm to the mod or using V/LA tags.
If you fail to respond to a prod within 24 hours after it was sent out, you will be replaced.
I you accumulate 3 total prods, I may replace you.
If I have posted that a replacement is being sought for your slot, and you have arrived late after a prod or changed your mind after requesting replacement, you will be required to follow it through as per any other possible replacement. I will not hold the spot open for you if I do get an offer.

To clarify the % mechanics, when someone who has % gains % they die.

% does not equal 1%. % equals high damage. When someone who has high damage is hit, they are KO'd.

for example, say Player A has X ability that inflicts %. They use it on player B. Now player B is at % (they took damage from the ability)

The next night, player A uses the ability on them again. Since they already have %, they are KO'd (they have enough 'damage' where the ability that inflicts % would kill them.)

I will admit, the scumteam was mildly underpowered. The split NK was a larger hindrance than I anticipated. Their exceptional play, however, got them to the endgame.

Also, I think including the lyncher on the mentor was a mistake. The mentor was one of my favourite roles in the setup, and I was afraid I made him too powerful so I put a lyncher on him to be safe.

In addition, I was sad that Mario got dayvigged before he could start blowing up posts :/

Nana worked as I had anticipated, however. Basically a ‘cool confusing doublevoting mechanic’.

All in all, I’m pretty happy with the way this game turned out. I learned some lessons too: serialkillers with bulletproof are way better than serialkillers without, split mafia kill is a very large nerf, and don’t put lynchers on third party roles.

: This passive cannot be deactivated:
- You control the two ice climbers, Nana and Popo. Popo uses your main account, while Nana is an anonymous alt. username: Nana (password: -removed-).
- Nana is considered, for all purposes, another player.
- Your win condition changes depending on which and how many ice climbers are still alive:
- If both ice climbers are still alive, you are town-aligned
- If Nana dies, and Popo is still alive, Popo joins the mafia. The mafia will be informed that a traitor has joined them.
- If Popo dies and Nana is still alive, Nana becomes a neutral survivor.
- If both ice climbers are dead, you cannot win. If one ice climber is dead, you cannot win with the dead ice climber's win condition.
- Nana is immune to alignment changes not caused by this effect. If Popo's alignment changes and it was not caused by this effect, Nana will die.

I main Ganon in PM!

I actually designed the setup FIRST, before adding the flavour / characters / etc. Then I figured out which character would be best suited to each role, tweaked the roles a bit to fit with the characters, and did a final balance pass on everything.

I did the triforce thing the way I did so that Ganon could not win with Link or Zelda, and Link and Zelda could not win with Ganon, but Link and Zelda can win together if Ganon is dead. It fits well with the flavour.
