^As town, on initial impressions scummy-looking and sometimes difficult to understand.

As time goes on you can tell that he has the best intentions at heart and is willing to engage, put differences aside and move forward toward solving the game.
He's also not so hard to understand when you decide that he might, actually, be town. He's very forthcoming and precise with his thinking.

Really fun dude to play with.

I guess I'll have a whole lot of fun as scum then, when I get to pretend my true feelings are on show while actually presenting my own case to the contrary. (If you're oblivous to sarcasm, that was it.)
I was in a debate team when I was younger and failed badly because instead of analysing what the opposition would do, I couldn't help but continue to find fault in the other position.

Is that the problem?
