Yep, its a competition issue for women's. When there are about ten good teams, you are going to end up with a lot of lopsided games. It would be even worse if you took the teams that are the next few out and put them against the best teams out there.
Also France is going to be challenging for best in the world very soon. They are looking good and I wouldn't at all put it past them to win their group and take down Norway and then Canada- LlamaFluff

They have a real chance to win it all.
I still think they are on the low end of the realistic teams that could win. They are good but I am not sure they could make it through the gauntlet that would go something like Spain -> Germany -> USA -> Japan.- LlamaFluff

So USA ends up with a Colombia first round and it would be a winner of China/Cameroon after that. Then comes a Germany/Sweden/France game and what would likely be a final against Brazil.- LlamaFluff

Was I the only one who felt really bad for Iwashimizu (Japan #3 - Defender) who got beat for both early USA goals and then had that failed clearance? To have that happen on such a major stage just hurts, especially when you get pulled 30' into the game because of being a major reason for three early goals being allowed.- LlamaFluff

USL is more fun. Especially because all of the games are free streaming so its easy to watch for good ones, and they tend to be higher quality teams than NASL- LlamaFluff

Yeah I guess you would be in that grey area between the Charlotte, Wilmington and Richmond teams- LlamaFluff

That's funny since LA2 was far and away the second best team (behind the team that lost one game all season) in the road in USL play, even made a three game road run as the #5 Seed in West before losing in extra time in the finals after their keeper went off with a concussion.- LlamaFluff

As far as I am concerned given no rooting interest, MLS playoffs are over because it cant get any better than that game. Instant classic MLS playoff game. - LlamaFluff
