Managed to have a friend give me tickets to some MLS celebration party last night. I'm pretty sure that was a party for MLS big shots and I didn't belong.

Stu Holden was there and that was cool. Eric Wynalda was there and that wasn't as cool.

Knowing that we lose Seattle or LA in the first round is a good feeling. Knowing that we lose one of Montreal or Toronto in the first round isn't as good of a feeling.

Lets call some matches I guess

NE>DC - Don't think DCs defense can hold up the entire 90, but both teams are sort of stumbling into the playoffs, could go either way, wouldn't be surprised to see extra time.
LA>SEA - Its LA in the playoffs and Seattle never really fully bounced back from the post-open cup slump. That being said, LA is garbage outside of StubHub.
POR>SKC - Portland, with momentum, at home.
MON>TFC - Montreal is secretly more than the Drogbamobile, and I think they'll show it tomorrow night.

If we're gonna talk recent form though we can't forget NE getting pummeled by Chicago the worst team in the league earlier in the month. But DC gave up 5 against a Columbus team WITHOUT Kei Kamara, which is serious cause for alarm. Don't see DC taking it in regulation, but if they can get to OT I think they pull out a relative upset.
