Minecraft: Story Mode is pretty, and nice if you really like minecraft (like us), but I found it inferior to other telltale adventure games that I have played so far (fable, walking dead I, II)

I just bought Telltale Game of Thrones a couple weeks ago and that has been the only telltale game I've played. I have walking dead season 1 that I picked up for free off games with gold but haven't played it. Don't watch walking dead so not sure if I'd enjoy it. I was thinking about getting Minecraft Story Mode but there's a lot of games I want to play, and not a lot of free time to play them.

Go play the walking dead.

You don't need to see the series to enjoy it, the game stands by itself (as long as you don't actually dislike zombie stories as a whole). There are a few characters from the series that make small cameos, but that is pretty minor. Telltales TWD is a wonderful, wonderful game that I can't recommend enough, specially if you liked game of thrones.

Edit: Also, I've finished my dirty hut, and getting some basic supplies. I am going to a 4 day trip, but i should be back on the server Sunday

logged on, visited village, claimed the church and blacksmith, started a mineshaft, got creepered multiple times and died horribly, died a bunch more times to zombies trying to get my stuff, logged off.

On Vanilla, the NW of the map is cordoned off with a really bad wall. That well be fixed I'm just working on not getting blown up or swarmed by zombies.

Extra-Life Fundraiser

Saturday, November 7th is the Extra-Life fundraising event, where gamers around the world play games to raise money for the Children's Miracle Network of Hospitals.

This year, one of our players - Gabegonzo - will be participating by doing the full 24-hour marathon, with all donations directly benefiting the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. You can also help raise money by making a donation for this great hospital, which constantly works to heal our children, regardless of their status and regardless of their ability to pay for services. Even if you are unable to help monetarily, it would be great to support Gabe by just hanging out in the channel for a little while, keeping him motivated and maybe inspiring others to donate. Even just spreading the word about the event and visiting the twitch channel would help.

Part of the gaming marathon will take place on our own SP5 server, where Gabe and others will be building a hospital. If you would like to help out, have some fun, and participate in a fun group build for a good cause,

please join us at 4 pm EST on Saturday, November 7.

The entire live event, including the SP5 build, will be broadcast on Gabe's twitch channel, so please feel free to visit, watch and chat while he dedicates his time towards this great cause.

Knocked down or creeperexploded? I had a bad stretch there. If its the latter, i'll rebuild

I cleared out two of the small huts. I can definately rebuild them if someone is upset about it I needed wood and didn't like their locations at all. So my apologizes if I need to fix it that's not an issue. Although one of them was partially creeper exploded too

Be careful. Creepers are starting to spawn and are right outside of Klaz's church and Aphix's house.

I've started dropping torches to try and get monster spawn out of spawn. It's hideous and ugly but I don't like tons of witches and creepers running around. And I figure we can work on something prettier. But I just now started and I'm not very good at sticking to one thing.
