I'm not going to write a novel, but I will be participating and trying to write a short story this month.

Okay I wasnt planning on doing this til today but fuck it, I have a story I worked on a little a while back so I'm just going to say that was my day one output.

So I've decided my goal is a little different. My story is mostly serialized slice-of-lifeish stuff in a setting best described as Worm+DanganRonpa+Umineko(Giant isolated city-state in a slightly-futuristic time where classic superheroics coexist with exceptionally talented normal humans and magical Witches and mythical beings cause trouble in secret), so it doesn't really have a solid storyline or anything. Given my time and ADHD, I know I'm going to not hit 50K words, but that's alright. it gives me an ideal to work towards. I want to publish this and try to do the web serial sort of thing, but my goal is more to get enough content that I have a large enough backlog when starting.

EDIT: 2390 words.

I got sidetracked 2 weeks ago and never have been able to get back into a steady groove. I'd need to write 20k words over this weekend to win, but I have actual homework to finish too.

Damn, I was doing so good until then too.

Im not participating in Nanowrimo this time, but I've made it a goal to write for at least an hour a day so I guess I sort of am.
