If the desktop has a decent graphics card it will run better than a laptop with low end integrated graphics, even if the laptop has a faster CPU.
Also memory matters, Java is a memory hog and the garbage collection messes with FPS pretty badly.

On Regrowth, I tried to get a Mariculture water wheel going.
Pressurized water got out, and it ate through a couple floors of my base.

I hope I got it sealed back up again.

you can improve them to drop 4 each.

I'm not talking about what you think I am...

The drop I'm referring to is one of the things you get off the wild grass. It's not guaranteed to drop anything in the first place, and even if it does getting the specific drop I need is like 1 in 6. And I need 2 stacks of said drop.

We got it sorted. Somehow he didn't receive the clayconia reward, despite completing the quest.

I had one which didn't want to reward me, turned out it was because inventory was too full.

I had issues with a full inventory a few times before I figured it out. It's a good feature so I don't throw a reward into lava or something but it should tell you why it's not working.

I've had a VERY lonely time on minecraft today. No one has been on or around at all.

Also ETL. I stole some skeleton seeds. I got tired of that crap.

heads up for everyone if you aren't playing regrowth and starts. If it asks if you want a skeleton seed as a reward, say yes. Otherwise it because much harder. It's such a stupid quest choice, it should be a bug.

Within a few hours of getting the skeleton seed ... Got all the base metals unlocked. And I spent days getting about halfway.

After watching Gabe show off the network on stream tonight, I finally got around to building an Enhanced Portal.

After looking over the list on the blog, I've chosen

glowstone

as my code starter. The UID for the portal at my current base is glowstone/glowstone/diamond

It's set to public so anyone should be able to link to it through yours.

Edit: I've added my code to the one at spawn.
