I guess it's accurate of the games listed, but it's not that accurate with all games considered:

Uncharted 2 was my wife's baby. She worked on that one more than any other game, so I don't know if I rated it too highly because of that or I should feel guilty for not rating it higher.

Any system that makes me rate CoD4 and Assassin's Creed in my top 20 isn't comprehensive enough. Those are two games I enjoyed like popcorn, nothing more.

I just played Cook Serve Delicious for about an hour. Surprisingly neat/fun game. On sale for the next ~16 hours for $2, just as a heads up.

yeah I need to work through my backlog now that I'm done/nearly done with Undertale. either need to work on shows or games, and I think I'm gonna restart one of the Tales games soonish

Symphonia is one of my favorite games but I played it so much as a kid idk if I wanna put myself through it again, although I might do it for

Abyssion

, because that was one of the first "super hard bonus boss" fights I ever experienced
Xillia was solid and had a really cool battle system, just got distracted with Pokemon X&Y a few weeks after I bought it
Abyss felt outdated and the main character is

insufferable

, but I hear it gets better?

in the meantime CSD will serve as a game to play when I just want to kill ~half an hour out of boredom.

also I should pick up the FFX/X-2 bundle for nostalgia's sake eventually, but again I played it so much as a kid... maybe I can try Yuna Only No Summons again

Play No Sphere Grid No Mix No Summons. Did that once, killed my thumbs on Lulu's overdrive.

Honestly wanna take back what I said in a previous thread and say Undertale is the best game ever, but I'm worried that the newness of it is just clouding my feelings, because I really really loved Earthbound so much. I might just need to play Earthbound again. But I'm not so sure Earthbound made me feel so many different emotions so strongly. I can't really think of anything from any medium that made me feel this way.

Regardless, Undertale and Earthbound are my top 2 at least. Everything else I'd have to think kind of hard about. There's a lot of great games out there, but none of them really compare to those two.

Ugh, No Sphere Grid runs sound miserable.

I've heard

Auron Only (Own Sphere Grid)

is either almost as hard or harder than YONS, because while YONS is just lots of grinding, the fact that you

don't get Auron for the longest time means you have to do NSG up to that point, plus his Accuracy/Evasion/Agility sucks

...

Also I forgot about the

Dark Aeons

in the HD remake (I'm assuming they're in there, they were in the original PAL version), and I never did complete the Monster Arena... hrm.

I did NSG up to the underwater boss with Tidus/Wakka. It seemed like you just had to rely on lucky crits.

I actually forget how I beat the underwater machina on my NSG run. I think it was a lot of luck and Wakka's Overdrive, though. After Rikku joins, it gets a lot easier, provided you're willing to do a lot of mixing.

You can tell my weeb/visual novel preference is showing with this, although my top pick is still probably the best game out there. The only outlier really is Paper Mario, which should be up in the top tiers--I like it more than TTYD. Otherwise, this list was pretty good honestly for being so mainstream, the only things I'd add are all really obscure(VtMB, Radiant Historia, An Untitled Story) or have reasons not to be considered for the list, be they "It's not a game"(Visual Novels) or "It's actually terrible"(Deadly Premonition, Huniepop, Sonic Adventure 2).

Only reason I considered buying a WiiU was for the HD Remake. The visuals of that game were phenomenal.

Then I happened upon the Forsaken Fortress and beat the bird thing and then revealed Zelda and was like.....okay now I can't even get on these islands to get the last temples because I need some item I don't have. And there was nothing ANYWHERE to suggest where to get the items

Have you tried talking to the King of Red Lions? IIRC, he usually is pretty good with advice.

My biggest issue with windwaker is how empty the sea was, I enjoy exploration in zelda games, but it needs to be denser than it was. It just felt tedious. Still a good game though, above twilight princess for sure.
