I've finished Pillars of Eternity this week. It has its faults, but it was really good overall.

And if you do take something please remove it from the list.

Anyone else been playing Darkest Dungeon? Easily one of the funnest and most interesting games of the year, especially for an Indie rogue-like dungeon crawler.
I swear I'm trying my best

I play it on and off. It's rather nice.

play the witness.

please. do it.

last night, i finally beat a puzzle i had been stuck on for an hour. my brain SHUT DOWN. ive never experienced anything like it. i just instinctively got up, walked away from my computer, and laid on the couch and stared at the ceiling.

i just spent 6 hours playing it again tonight. i just got to a part that made me actually feel like a part of my brain was broken. i took a lap around the house, literally splashed water on my face, and went to sit back down. still couldn't understand what i was looking at.

nuwen was playing and had a mountain of paper, pens, dice, and legos on her desk to try and figure out the puzzles.

i want to go back in and play again. i dont think i have the juice left to do it. my brain. my brain. my brain. holy shit.

we spent 30 minutes watching a scene from a Tarkovsky film and a lecture by James Burke. i dont know why we did. but we did. and we just sat around in silence afterwards.

this game is transcendental. i want to beat it so i can get it out of my head. but i wont use walkthroughs. that would defeat the purpose.

oh my fucking god.

I have played about 2 hours of The Witness so far. It's really good. There are a couple mechanics I thought I had figured out but hadn't, so that's a little frustrating, but overall I'm really enjoying it.

okay people so i need to hype up the witness

10/10 walking simulator

i got frustrated by a puzzle so i went for a walk in a random direction, found a back door out of the keep i was in down to the coast, just followed the coast towards a shipwreck in the distance, listened to the waves, wandered through the shipwreck and then walked back to the keep to keep working on the puzzle

the game feels incredibly open and organic
