Uhh, just wondering guys, but am I just nitpicking too much or is his use of the word "you" to refer to town a bit strange? Not to mention an admitted willingness to hammer a player 2 days into the game without reasons for his scumread.

Mmm. The word thing is a nitpick, specifying town would be less concise there, and I was originally going to say "because one would want to out as few roles as possible d1d2" but that is pretty awkward.
The latter was poorly phrased by me. I meant I was willing to put you to l-1 day 2 -or- save my vote for an eventual hammer for far later. Obviously I would have given my given my reasons before doing either action but it never came to it so the point is moot.

I'm pretty happy with how the game is going so far: I'm trying a new approach this time and I'm feeling good about it so far. Currently awaiting some BBT-RC-IAI interaction, I know that the town within this set have an interest in sorting each other and it'll be interesting to see what comes out of the exchanges.

Ok so in isolation I would scumread KTS's serious posts for storytelling (very constructed statements and posts which look sort of planned-out) and for constantly talking about the general case about what scum theoretically would or should do when he's explaining his reads. But he's pretty similar in the other game I looked at him in (there was a third but it was barely anything) so its like whatever.

He put in a ton of effort early/midgame and I liked that. What happened midgame was people mostly ignored both him and his reads for Kirroha, SB and then Rubixxx. I think scum would be happy with this situation as they're safe from lynch and in a good position if the town's likely to ML. But he became apathetic. I don't know if it's genuine or not but I'm not sure why scum would choose to fake that in this situation rather that continuing as they were doing. I guess he could technically be bored scum. Still I have him townlean from earlier and I'd rather lynch in my 4.

IaI's deathtunnel is technically more AI than RC's as RC does it a fair amount as both alignments (disclaimer, I don't know IaI meta). I was scumreading IaI yesterday but his play around deadline and pretty much offering himself as a lynch when he really didn't have to makes him near-conf town to me.

I honestly townread that because I thought scum would have discussed your claim well and have reached a conclusion, whereas implosions response seemed too ignorant to be faked (that's actually what I wrote down). That kind of doesn't work if scumchat wasn't actually active and they didn't agree on how to approach the claim though.

GR is a strong townread. Of the d1 wagons the sb one felt the most to me like it had characteristics of a mislynch being pushed by scum. I thought SB's posting was moderately bad but the way the wagon stagnated/stayed very large after he disappeared felt scum-driven. The fact that the wagon stayed at l-1 or l-2 for like half a week or a week or something like that when there had been no recent posts from the slot and very little pre-existing posting (not enough to get a strong read imo) felt off. GR's posting on replacing in really didn't feel like i-just-replaced-into-a-scum-slot. His reaction to kirroha's reaction test felt genuine, and he just immediately started attacking people in every direction in a way that really didn't strike me as something that scum would do if they replaced into a wagoned slot. It feels too acerbic for scum in that situation.

In retrospect this is also pretty bad too.

I'm unconvinced on GR, and at the very least he has 1-2 people bussing him if hes scum. Which is possible (and likely given another condition), but the posts themselves I can't be confident one way or another.

I agree with you that it's definitely strange though I'm not certain of the necessity of this as a scum play either.
GR, myself and syndesis are all extremely lynchable, and I'd expect either a bus onto one of them or a rather easy mislynch onto myself in this situation; with the AFKs I don't think scum are particularly threatened here.
Claiming rolecop with this doctor find does allow a potential lynch onto the doctor but at this point from the scum perspective the doctor doesn't have much to protect anyways, furthermore if they wanted the doctor dead they could just NK them. Challenging the doctor is somewhat bold because of the rarity of scum-doc, furthermore it wouldn't look good for RC himself if the doctor flips town.
I really just see unnecessary risk here; in this situation with so many roles having a rolecop claim as scum doesn't actually seem to provide utility.

It's also annoying because its a distraction when things were getting interesting.

Actually it seems more likely to be the latter; if RC were a town rolecop with a doctor result there's like no reason at all not to wait and see if they claim. A scum doctor would likely not claim doctor so them claiming doctor would lend credence. Now if RC is town, with a result on a scum doctor, they get to claim their role for free. This is like god-awful play if RC is town. You wait if you have an investigative or possibly contradicting result to see if someone contradicts it. Like the last game I played where I was a town rb and blocked the last scum but still waited for them to claim just in case I could get a tiny bit of extra information that would matter.

As far as I can tell that jump off is to appease Gif who put him to L-2: a reaction (self-preservation) to the wagon rather than your pressure specifically. RC didn't explain his vote until afterwards and Gif's looked frivolous so your vote was the only one there explained so it would be fair to say your vote influenced him more than the others though.

It definitely is self-preservation how he goes on me after GiF suggests his willingness for (me, rubixxx) and you also on the wagon have me for a scumread, but wanting to stay alive isn't AI and I would do the same. Personally I think GR himself has been mediocre, with the low commitment/wishy-washy nature, and entrance I disliked (exaggeration). His push on me I have trouble judging but it definitely makes me value his life less if he's going to make it him vs me. Since he doesn't actually say much I assume his votes on us were for our lurky/strange play which is 'valid' but he gets 0 points for insight or depth of thought for it. There's no smoking gun though and the only thing that gives me some reassurance here is townreads elsewhere plus his predecessors SB/TG's disgusting play.

Kirroha has bad association with GR and MoI
If just one of those three people are town it confirms syndesis for scum (unless GF ruined the results).

The thing is
if you lynch within the high percentage scum not only do you probably get a scum but that flip also helps being confident in the joat claim
if rc was scum lying and another scum is in his innos then the chance for the poe lynch being scum is actually low so it actually flipping scum would for the most part stop that narrative

if you mislynch me and then half of you go into lylo still unsure about your view on it the game's essentially already lost (whatever the decision town has to be unified/all in agreement) because my flip does nothing to verify or discredit it

I wasn't going to say this until tomorrow since there was like 0% chance of me dying as opposed to someone like nino, and in general it's counter productive to show doubt in something when you want other people to vote with it,
but yeah have fun.

The most important point that this post fails to factor is this - if everyone who isn't Rask uses the exact same PoE as her then she is the "High Percentage Scum" for them. And thus a good lynch for the reasoning above for everyone but her. So I'm unsure why fear of not solidifying Radiant's claims should factor into someone's who isn't Rask's decision on whether to vote for Rask today or not.

Well yeah, obviously you guys aren't in the same position and can't play as I do from my perspective, but I can't really do anything other than explain my own actions and thoughts and let you judge for yourself. To convince you guys using logic that I'm not using myself doesn't make that much sense to me, it's similar to asking a cop to explain his inno/guilty because you don't know he's actually that role.

I mean I could try anyways to build a big case which would say why syn is a good lynch and why I'm town through reasoning rather than me just knowing but it's like a lot of effort so eeeeeeehhh. Just ask me questions its easier.

I'm not doing implosion and would rather do syn over GR (though the latter is more preference).
Even though implosions wrong on me I still think he's probably town rather than you happening to gunsmith check scum-doctor.

Like, I might be wrong about my reads but at least its a learning experience and I'm really trying

Game should be easy now.
Flip more-or-less clears kirroha though I guess I should doublecheck.
Nino still conftown and have the two gunsmith checks.

Either its syn/moi or one of the gunsmith checks is false-positive.
Between the two I think MoIs actually townier despite syn pushing GR. If I have to choose a gs check to doubt it'd be implosion but eeeh.
syn/moi >> syn/impl > moi/impl > outside chance for other weird stuff involving kirroha and/or gif

This is without re-reading though, will have to review tomorrow or the day after. Actually kind of relieved RC died because him alive here would leave me incredibly paranoid
