In honor of Kaoh Rong the upcoming season of survivor, I am announcing my first on-site survivor game! Currently in design phase and seeking co-mods, especially those versed in survivor game theory. PM me if interested. I have a general set up but need good critical feedback to explore the set up.

Introducing ”Deterministic” Survivor: Medevac Island. A game where your fate lies in your health, thereby making it a possibility of legit medical evacuations.

If you hate live challenges, long challenges, or challenge beasts, then this game may be for you. All players start equally with the same amount of points and almost every single decision in the game can be decided by spending points. Every single decision like when to sit out a challenge, when to eat from the rice pot, or how hard to play in the challenge can have an impact on how much energy you have later in the game.

No /pre-ins right now. Likely 18 players. Potential for non anonymous.

no its fine!! this erection has been here a while

Hey guys, so update time. I'm back from my trip to Canada, yay, so more updates to the OP will be made within this week. If you have a game in queue or recently announced, I'd love for an update on where you stand on things. Until I check in with all mods, and in light of how intense Eon just was,
nothing
will be going into signups even for at least 2 weeks. Also with how few games are close to completion as of last check, staggering of games won't be happening until things are sorted out some more. From what I already know right now, #2016 can not
start
running until April 1st. And Survivor: LoL is also finished enough that it could also run, but other games in front of it still have preference if they are set to go and scheduling with mods on that would need to be checked in as well. I will put up another update once I hear from more people. If we're lucky, I may even be able to have said update be a brand new thread!

So, just to clarify: that means our timetable for #2016 is potentially:

- Open signups on March 9
- Leave signups open for two weeks, until March 23
- Spend a week finalizing board setup
- Open the game on April 1

Yeah, you could definitely do that. It's April 1st because of the 2 months from the post BotB post above. Your game IS next in queue.

Who would be interested in a Big Brother marathon game in the near future?

Pending on when you want to do this, I would also like to run either a one to two night Skype Survivor or Marathon Survivor game! Possibly an anonymous AIM based survivor game (still just a one night thing)

I got bored and planned the whole thing!

10-14 Player Survivor game that might be a marathon, might be skype based, might be anonymous and on AIM! Who knows!

(this would be like a one night thing! My estimates put this at taking up to 6 hours, judging on my timings and previous games like this!)

I totally forgot to post this earlier, sorry, but if anybody's interested in the total results from the survey I had ani post a couple weeks back, here's a link to the analytics.

tl;dr:

- Don't do Redemption Island, everyone hates it
- If everyone could get over their Heroes vs Villains boner that would be A+ thx
- Newbies vs Veterans is also probably a bad idea

Well newbies vs veterans kind of happened? I don't know that it reeeeally needs to happen again? And I think the results would usually be a bit unsurprising.

Just because a large number of people don't want to play something doesn't mean there isn't an audience for it.
