Polar Bear - Hi friend. You are the Depressed Polar Bear. You are so sad that you wish to kill yourself, but alas, unfortunately for you, you are Deathproof. You cannot die in any way, despite your frequent attempts to kill yourself, or someone trying to kill you. Meanwhile, you exist solely to screw everything up. Do whatever you want, you can't die. Jump out of a plane, post pics of shirtless men, polar bears, shirtless polar bears, anything. You have no alignment, therefore you cannot win or lose.

Mez (The player) proceeded to quote his Role PM, post pictures of polar bears, nameclaim, use the mod's color, post pictures of shirtless men, talk during the night, and, in one nightscene, kill the mod and resurrect her as a zombie. He also posted pictures of shirtless polar bears
After he claimed we started an in-thread religion that followed him, much to the mod's dismay. When the co-mod crashed a plane during endgame and killed all surviving players, the polar bear remained, alone. And he still didn't win.

These are a couple role ideas: They're not inherently "Worst", though I am curious what people think of them.

You are a

Sniper

. During the night, you can decide to

"watch"

(not an actual Watch however) a particular player. If that player is visited by a killer, you will reflexively wound (poison) the killer (though not stop the kill, nor will you be told who the killer is). The killer will succumb to their wounds the following night unless they receive a doctor protection. (The alternate version where this role simply kills the killer seems a bit too strong, though is also viable as a kind of "aggressive doctor" variant.)

You are a

Mercenary/Private Contractor.

You are a Third Party role and can win with either alignment; depending on the use of your power. During Night 1, you must "sell" your services to a target player (this is not an action and so is not trackable or watchable; it is simply designating a player). Target player is not told of this interaction. Every night (including Night 1) you may perform a kill on anybody but your employer. You win with the alignment of your last Employer (you are not told the alignment of your "Employer", nor who their teammates are if they are a member of the Mafia). If your employer is killed or lynched at any point in the game, you must sell your services to a new player at the first possible night, changing your win condition to the alignment of your new employer. You win with the alignment of your Employer, whatever that is, and if your Employer is alive at the end of the game (if you are killed, you better hope your last employer doesn't die.) You lose if your employer's faction is defeated, or if you die employer-less (for example, if your employer dies during the night and you are lynched the following day before you can declare a new employer the following day).

^ This is basically a Serial Killer that can win with either the Town or the Mafia depending on the alignment of the person they attach themselves to. They are never told the alignment of their employer, so they have to scumhunt their kills (functioning as a vig) if they believe their target to be town, and scumhunt to avoid killing the teammates of their target if they believe their target is mafia. Ideally this role would be in a setup without a multiball or other third parties.

Nah, those ideas seem decent. I posted in the Grand Ideas thread a role called Diplomat which has 5 different win cons and the player isn't told which one applies (only 1 of them actually apply).

every night you pour oil on someone and recruit someone else. At any point during the day you can kill everyone who had been oiled. You win when only cult are left or there is no way for this to occur.

The next vote you cast, will have the worth equal to the numbers of votes on you since the last vote you cast. For example, 3 people have voted for you since the last time you cast a vote: if you cast a vote now it will be a triple vote. At the start of a dayphase, your vote resets to 1 vote.

Each night, you may kill a target player, but you must send in your target using non-digital means. Actual mail, telephone (no cell phone, an old analogue one, you know, with the rotary dial), (singing) telegram, and in person are examples of acceptable methods.

Err, the digital telegram was invented in 1809, and was in commercial use by 1840. It was one of the first practical uses found for digital technology.

I seriously doubt any telegram would be sent via non-digital means nowadays.

I was thinking of everything which used a streams of 0s and 1s. Telegrams don't do this (though callforjudgement has a valid point), so they count as far as I'm concerned. Then again, it is similar, so I'll leave it up to the mod. I'm not sure if you can actually use a phone nowadays without some digital processing, I don't think so. I forgot good old-fashioned radio though.
