Last Night

Last night, the town gets together. They realized that the system was corrupt and railroading American citizens. Many of our current rights stem from these abuses. The jury of ones peers is particularly interesting in that regard. The Constitution mandates that you get a jury of your "peers". The definition of a "peer" however has been debated well since the 1960s. When the US (largely) started using voter registration to get called for jury duty, this wound up excluding African Americans. When African Americans were allowed to vote, they were still discriminated against widely. It wasn't until

that selectively excusing black jurors from jury service was forbidden. Since that decision, there's been a flurry of litigation defining what a peer is.

Death Scene

You awake to find all the windows to the courthouse repaired. They used to be so creaky they allowed weird spherical shapes to run through them and clattered with every motion of the wind. When they were fixed, that was a surprise.

When you go into the courthouse, you find that there's a two headed person lying on the floor. It's Window Attack.

You grab the key from their person and look into their house. You find that they had secretly run a medical shipping company. You also find that they dabbled in using far too many steroids.
