Choose wisely.
3. The game includes the White Flag mechanic, which means that town wins when only one scum is remaining.
4. If one town is lynched, then the scum wins and the town is endgamed, based on having 50% of the votes.
5. This means that either way, one single D1 lynch decides the game.
6. A lynch will occur when 3 votes have been cast on the same player.
This lynch will end the game, regardless.

Word Sneak Mafia

This is a normal game of mafia! There is only one difference: WORD SNEAK! Each night phase, the mod will you give you a list of five randomly generated (but fair) words that you MUST try to work into your posts as seamlessly as possible. Then, during the day or night, send the mod the words that you think each person had. Whoever guesses the most words CORRECTLY gets an extra vote the next day phase. 6 VTs, 1 Town Cop, and 2 goons.

Here's how this works; each Player PMs me
a mafia mechanic
after /ining. This mechanic could range anywhere from new roles, all the way to whole new concepts nobody has every seen.

THEN; I will try to fit together 5 of these mechanics into that game, all at once, while also making it as balanced as possible. A few of the mechanics will be made public, some will not. It depends on what it is.

This is the first of my experimental series of micro games I'm going to run, in order to test out things and ideas for future, bigger and broader projects. Enjoy!

This game will involve three special voting-relating mechanics I'm trying out. The first,
Overtime
, will give another option than the player with the most votes at the end of the day.
Locked Voting
adds a lot more accountability for your vote later in the day, and finally, the
Mafia Judge
elected role, allows for some interesting new leadership in the town.


Mafia Judge:

- Each night, including Night 0, all
Town
players will vote for a Judge for the following day.
- This Judge has the power to "Veto" a lynch that has already gone through; if this happens, then 1/4 of the original DL will be added onto the deadline, and players will have to vote for a different player. This is effectively also an "overtime".

Overtime:

- If a lynch is Vetoed, OR if deadline hits without a lynch, 1/4 of the Deadline will be added back on. Any previous votes on the Player who had the most votes before DL will
no longer count,
and those players will have to vote for a
different
player for the remainder of the overtime.
- When the game goes into Overtime, any previous "locked" votes will be reverted; players may vote freely as in any normal mafia game at this point.

- If the deadline gets to
the halfway point
, all votes after that point will be "Locked-in", meaning they can't be changed.
