Hina - After the class trial, being so stressed out and cannot sleep because she wants a donut, so she heads to the dining hall which is obviously gonna be closed since it's nighttime, then hears a weird noise from the sauna and investigates, and sees the weird disembodied head of Chihiro in a locker, only for her to be alive but with a stomachache the next day <3
2. Taka - Sauna champion <3 He's a little disappointed now so IDK how I will feel soon
3. Kyoko - I feel like Kyoko and Sakura could overtake Hina and Taka based on what goes on in this episode. I totally thought Genocide Jack was going to be revealed to be Kyoko and she would be like the Ultimate Serial Killer or something
4. Sakura - Just a nice person <3
5. TOKO / GENOCIDE JILL - Omg what an amazing twist <3 I'm excited to plunge forward with this new totally insane serial killer in the mix <3
6. Celeste - Yawn
7. Hiro - Yawn
8. Byakuya - Eh, I can't get behind his weird choice to frame Genocide Jill, incriminating both himself and Toko in the process when it was neither of them who committed the murder
9. Hifumi - Super yawn. Though the title seems to suggest that this is ~his~ breakout episode so we shall see :/

2. Hiro - I can empathize with the completely clueless but genial character
3. Sakura - nice person, free time development is interesting
4. Kyoko - interesting character, seems to be the intelligent character keeping a distance but still manages to be emotionally involved
5. Celeste - certainly unique, they bring a different flavour to the group
6. Taka - bit vanilla, but quite funny at times, wonder what they will do in the next chapter
7. Toko - The Genocide Jill twist was good, but I just really disliked Toko beforehand
8. Hifumi - As you said, Super Yawn
9. Byakuya - Such a complete dickhead. He is the only character I REALLY dislike out of them.

I had to go just after they found the next body, and now I'm curious :/
Spoiler: the all-knowing parama's character rankings (the spoiler part is not a joke)
1. Celeste (i just love her personality, even if she's like the only true villain besides junko)
2. Chihiro (bless this poor baby)
3. Sakura (who is basically the strongest and nicest character in every way
4. Hina (one of the most normal yet most fleshed-out characters for sure)
5. Kyoko (the few moments where she does show emotion make her more interesting)
6. Byakuya (probably the character who changes the most throughout the course of the game)
7. Makoto (i mean, he counts, even if he's a bit one-note)
8. Junko (honestly she's more interesting the less "weird" she gets)
9. Sayaka (she's fine and her being the first attempted murderer is cool but she dies before 90% of the game happens so...)
10. Leon (in the manga, apparently sayaka's death was actually an accident, which makes him a fair bit more sympathetic)
11. Mukuro (i've been reading danganronpa zero where she does actually make a real appearance and she's pretty interesting there)
12. Taka (i mean he's fine but never really that strong of a character)
13. Mondo (i kinda hate him for killing chihiro but only a little and he's otherwise fine)
14. Yasuhiro (never gets over being a butt monkey)
15. Hifumi (literally exists just to parody someone irl i think)
16. Toko (the only character who gets less creepy when she turns into a serial killer)

This case did falter a little because during the fourth floor exploration it was like "ooh there's a cabinet full of poison!" and then the murder happens and they are like, "OMG VOMITING BLOOD? DRINKS? HOW COULD THIS HAVE HAPPENED WHARRRRGARBL" It was very twisty though, with like Hina, Toko, and Hiro all admitting to the murder and then you possibly thinking Byakuya did it (never mind Kyoko because at this point she's never going to die

Makoto is borestrocity, Hajime ismuch better, DR2 and in general and the characters are a lot better.
The next trial is pretty garbled but I think that's the only part of the game I'm not crazy on

I can't remember the last N_M post that wasn't bland, unimaginative and lame. Some shitposters are at least somewhat funny. You are the epitomy of the type of poster that nobody would miss if you were to suddenly disappear. You never add anything of value.

also i finshed DR0 and read DR IF and man, Mukuro is a much more interesting character when you get to know her more than "as a corpse"

also yeah DR2 has generally better characters but tbh i like makoto more than hajime. the only interesting thing about hajime is how they try and make him feel like a player-insert
anyways ranking the charactrocities
1. Chiaki - i want to hug this ai so badly
2. Ibuki - i'm so mad she dies, i connect with her sense of humor and musical tastes on a spiritual level
3. Fuyuhiko - best character arc of the entire series tho
4. Gundham - chapter 4 is the best trial of both games and this precious cinnamon roll is why
5. Nagito - he's a fun kind of crazy tbh, also his ultimate luck is hilarious
6. Sonia - she's just eccentric enough without being over-the-top
7. Akane - basically just Hina with all her attributes accentuated, but not really as deep a character
8. Nekomaru - he's cool i guess? i'm kinda meh on him tbh
9. Hajime - he's like if Makoto wasn't as nice, aside from the whole Izuru Kamukura thing and all y'know
10. Kazuichi - he's alright but his Sonia obsession is a bit overbearing
11. Peko - I mean if she had more time to develop she'd probably be more interesting but yeah.
12. Mahiru - it's like if Taka was less interesting
13. Mikan - it's too easy to get tired of her timid schtick, also she kills Ibuki so she loses points there
14. Hiyoko - the only character in the entire series whose free time events make even less likeable, somehow
15. Teruteru - i'm glad he dies quick because he's annoying and perverted
16. Fat Byakuya - literally not even a character
the top 6 are all great tho like wow
also Peko's free time events are a SPOILER MINEFIELD because you can deduce she kills Mahiru just from her free time events alone, aside from other things
they're all written in a way so that they can't cause a plot contradiction, and since she mentions Mahiru, in one of them, you know that means she can't outlive Mahiru; and she's alive when Mahiru dies, and alive by the time of the trial, so you can be 100% certain she's the murderer like whoa did they not think about that srsly

Trial 6 (a bit too much exposition and a bit too little trial but it's still good)
Trial 3 (i mean, it's celeste's trial, also it's wacky)
Trial 2 (this would've been over in 2 minutes if Byakuya wasn't such a dick but it's fun)
Trial 1 (there wasn't any mystery to who the killer was, but there were other mysteries)
Trial 5 (i mean, yeah)

Trial 4 (i love the setup for this one and i love gundham as the murderer and i love the backstory for it omg)
Trial 5 (jesus christ, nagito, what the hell is your problem)

Trial 1 (nagito makes this one fun, the mystery is pretty solid too)
Trial 6 (i'm a little sad that it was "just junko again" but there's still a lot of nice mystery to unravel)
Trial 3 (it's incredibly unsatisfying and a lot of things go unanswered, this feels almost tacked on somehow. even the execution scene is really unsatisfying.)
