Okay so other game ended. I don't know if I'm able to fully explain but I mentioned to SS that I felt a difference in the way he engages people as scum vs. as town. The way he was asking me questions but also kind of deflecting here seems like he's trying to imitate his townplay because he knows I think a certain way about his play, but doesn't want to give an opportunity to get in too deep and actually engage with him. He's trying to brush me off.

This feels like town-you much more than scum-you with your openness and honesty and you bringing up the gollum/smeagol thing immediately.

Yeah, I see what you're talking about, it's hard to get into this game because it's so confusing and all the setup spec and fluff has made scumhunting super hard. I also just had three games start in the last week and that's made it even harder to focus on this one. Hopefully I can get into this game a bit more this week.

from my original point, which was that you're not engaging (with me in particular but I think it's also everyone else, need to reread) the way I would expect you to as town. And you start talking about scumhunting and the setup being confusing which is not really related at all..

I'm not really engaging anyone because it's too hard to get into this game, for reasons I described. I didn't really deflect (at least not intentionally), I just failed to come around to the point, which is that since scumhunting is so hard I haven't been putting much effort into this game.

Pedit: because if you're scum then smeagol might be your partner.

Argh I hope I'm not confbiasing myself. I really do hope you start engaging and if there's anything I can do to help that long please let me know. If you are town then I want you to be around and active and stuff because you're a pretty solid player.

I am going to sit down in about 30 hours and reread your ISO and point out all the deflecting and things that you're doing that bother me and hopefully someone else can weigh in on that. 30 hours because I have a midterm today and a project tomorrow and also a paper due tomorrow that I haven't started yet hahahahaha

Hopefully with Maths ending it will be easier to get into this game. I think a lot of the deflecting I did was about kirroha, so let me lay out my thoughts as clearly as I can.

Kirroha's probably telling the truth about her role, in that she is able to win with everyone. She most likely claimed town after realizing that claiming 3p was a mistake.

So assuming she gets to L-1 today, she is a survivor. (She also wins if nightkilled, but that likely won't happen.) Now survivor is not fundamentally anti-town, but often is in practice, since a scum win is usually the least hazardous way for a survivor to win.

The easiest way to win as scum in a game with a survivor is to go to LYLO with the survivor, then lynch town one way or another with the survivor's help. There's the scum motivation in leaving her alive.

My belief is that she should not live until LYLO. Ideally, we could bring her to L-1 and then have a vig or another killing role shoot her, but quite honestly it seems more efficient to not bring her to L-1, thus causing her to lose and presumably die night 1.

I asked you whether you wanted to help her win on the assumption that you shared my belief that she was 3rd party, because scum would probably want her alive to help them mislynch in LYLO whereas town would probably not trust her.

So, two questions to you regarding kirroha:
(1) Do you think she is 3rd party or town-aligned?
(2) Do you think we should put her at L-1, lynch her, or leave her alone today?

28-bad post, feels like lilith is trying to find a silver lining for scum. The roles in this game are broken, not bad for the players. I mean I submitted a cult recruiter arsonist, so yeah wincons are either impossible to achieve or really really easy. 43 is similar in ilk.

Lane feels pretty towny, he seems to be approaching the game correctly and from a town mentality. 57 is godly and everyone should bow.

FTR IC roles I found are fake IC (town), or an innocent killer which is an SK I think.

Moving on, holy shit 76 basically is WIFOM at best and seems to confirm lilith as Smeagol.

Well now Lane is confTown probably. Unless this is the best scum gambit ever between lilith and Lane.

I love Aneninem's play and will never lynch him, don't care what alignment he is.

cakez/ranger are too tryhard, could be scum. Kirroha is obvtown.

Lane is getting wrecked. Lilith's 165 is still scum. I can confirm that the post isn't in the style of SS, it is similar to my style in that it seems to be a parody of something else(especially my BaH post in Soccer Spirits) but I just got in the game.

VOTE: Lilith SS is completely off this game.
