why didn't you fight harder against townies being lynched on D1 and D2 then, when you knew EAP should have been lynched D1?

Why are we not on either wagon when it could have been easier to stay on the Shiro wagon D1, and jumped on the shitty D2 wagon.

Like literally, every lynch so far has been top quality shit. I feel like I am becoming more like anti hero the more this game goes on.....

I did immediately offer an explanation, if you would have read between the lines. Convergent evolution is when two species from different lineages evolve the same trait. In this game we've had a flip with the choice of a commuter ability, and lane has also claimed commuter. We've likewise seen a townie flip with the choice of ascetic, and I am ascetic. Yes, it's a shitty role for town, but the other choice was also shitty, and I was curious as to what ascetic would lead to.

for ascetic there's negligible to no neg utility for scum and a lot of neg utility for town

Depends on what his second ability was, though. If it was also negative utility, that's a thing, but somehow I doubt wgeurts gave him the choice of ascetic or miller. He should claim it.

I was hoping that it would lead to a really cool second tier mutation, and as ascetic I couldn't be blocked. Unfortunately the later tiers aren't cool. I have a 1X redirect in my pocket, and if I'm on another lynch I can choose a second shot of redirect, or asceticizer (make someone else ascetic, but they don't know it). Having asceticizer as a choice on top of already being ascetic myself either indicates that there's a good reason to have it, or gurts just made a crappy game.

p-edit: I've only seen ascetic once before and they didn't claim. Plus, it seems he's offering it to town for a reason, and claiming might mess with the reason.
