@mod or Yimmy - is the setup made from only roles Plotinus has had as Plotinus, or could it potentially include any roles Plotinus has had as a hydra?

looks like a town post because this sort of question would have been posted in the scum QT, as the information would have been privately useful. Conversation previous to this looks like this train of thought wasn't premeditated.

Modest interjection: the search for scum roles are not particularly useful (or the search for town roles) as mods are likely to mix and match previous roles (if that's indeed what Yimmy intended to do, the only evidence being the name of this game) to not make the set-up transparent. i.e, a previous town role could now be a scum role and a previous scum role could now be a town role, so pinpointing the latter could be counterproductive

I townread Davsto but don't like the reasoning here, this is far too easily fakeable a thing to warrant a townread. Seems like an excuse to throw someone who's assuming town leader role in to the town pile early

This criticism prompted me to look at the bolded question he asked again... and I misread and interpreted it as "Are the roles in this game based off Plotinus's roles, or any roles of games he was in?" I'm not sure how I did that, but now I agree that the bolded question I quoted deserves far less to be townread, if at all, based on the reasoning I gave. Disregard! (Interjection still stands however, I don't believe it's worthwhile to discuss town/scum roles yet)

Finding scum roles is useful as it helps us to work out problems which will inevitably turn up later in regards to night actions.

While I don't agree with you that alignments couldn't possibly have changed based on the roles (disclaimer: I know nothing about what roles Plotinus has had), I don't see why we need to hash all this out now, and not later when its revenant

Maybe, but any motivated townie could do that on their own time if they feel compelled to. I'll agree that in the grand scheme of things I expect it won't make much difference
