I get your point but you just listed the band whose name coined the term DEATH metal as thrash.

There's also the fact that I don't like dissing certain musics because I brains process it differently, and if someone likes something, who am i to down it lol?
From what I've heard in country, it gets props for not needing a lot of studio work to get the right sound out- Flubbernugget

I'm not versed well enough to say much more than it bugs me. There's one or two things I could pick out a specific gripe with, but I'd rather not because it turns into a "can't unsee" thing that makes it less enjoyable for others.- Flubbernugget

Most characteristics of "big" sound either deal with heavily compressed signals or "live" recordings in large rooms.
In the former, this is directly described as "loudness", in terms of perceived dynamics and volume.
In the latter, the recorded source is also "loud", because it needs to be in order to pick up the signal at a strong enough volume before the reverb of the room washes it out.
So you're literally incorrect no matter how you want to argue it.
I have to eat a mic to scream but can belt with with the mic a good 6 inches from my face and still have it picked up. The scream still sounds bigger to me even though the belt is objectively louder. - Flubbernugget
