well No

as it stands in my first post its a roleblock / vote block immunity which can let them vote Someone like Enchantress even if she vote blocked them. or let them scape from Crystal maidens Frost Bite or Voids Timelock . (only twice)

but the new one I purposed in my last post was letting them level up faster if they hammer someone.

actually I was thinking about the double vote as well.

and for it to act you need to cast it on people so if the person is immune for cast , for example is invisible or something , he can't cast the ability on them.

Actually I think his redirection is overpowered as it stands. I'm going to increase its cooldown to 3 cycles.

Guess I'll suggest a Strength hero to keep 2 of each (Terrorblade is my favorite though, I'll think over his more):

Axe
[d][refresh 2]Berserker's Call- Taunt another player, forcing their vote onto you. You also are locked into voting them, and both take one less vote to lynch.
(can also be an ability to 1v1 someone and no one else can be lynched, up to you)

[n] [refresh 3] Battle Hunger- Enrage a player, causing them to thirst for blood. They can not use any abilities until they have killed a player or been on a lynch wagon

[p][refresh 4] Counter Helix-The first ability that targets you is deflected onto the players above and below you on the playerlist.

Culling Blade- Every time you hammer someone you gain a 1-shot kill.

thx for hero suggestion

I have an idea for his ult as well : if you hammer someone the game won't enter the twilight . by this ability more than 1 person can be lynched during the day.

I really liked the battle Hunger and your berserker's call and I think it shouldn't 1v1 those players (as its a normal ability) and I want to put a duration on it (72 hours for example?)

and I think redirecting thing might end badly (given how powerful are the abilities here) . I suggest this : There is a chance (X%) that if someone targeted you , you start the next day voting one of the players above or below you randomly.

what do you think ? :]

Rewriting to make the rule more obvious. Did I miss something?
Dota Mafia is an semi-open mafia for 10 / 20 people.

If 10 people: 7 town, 1 survivor and 2 mafia
If 20 people: 14 town, 2 survivor, and 4 mafia
or
14 town, 1 survivor, 3 mafia A, and 2 mafia B.

Regardless of your alignment, half of you will be part of Radiant clan while the other half will be part of Dire clan. Each clan has their own discussion.

Each player will pick a hero, but the picking method is based on majority vote. They are.

[A]All pick: Each player will secretly vote 6 heroes to be ban (12 in 20 player game). 6/12 heroes that receives the most vote will be banned. Each player then will choose give a list of priority the role that a player want. The mod will give each player the role they want with highest priority first.
All random: Each player receives a random hero
[C]Single pick: Each player will receive their own pool of 3 hero. Each player will pick 1 hero they want and discard the other 2. The hero in play will be revealed, but who picked what not.

Each hero has 4 abilities. You must assign the first three abilities as reward for leveling up. First, you must pick your original skill for level 1, Second, you must pick the ability that you want as reward for level 2. Finally, you must pick the ability that you want as reward for level 4. The fourth ability is called Ultimate ability and can be only won for leveling up to level 6. The Ultimate ability is not available for 10 people game.

Your hero also has 1 of the following trait:

[A] Strength: It takes 1 extra vote to lynch you
Agility: Your action is not canceled if only foiled (role blocked, etc..) by one player. It takes 2 player to foils your action to cancel it.
[C] Intelligent: Originally, each player starts at level 1, but you starts at level 2.

When you pick your hero, you're aware of your alignment and your clan, but the hero you pick may work differently then normal if you're playing as another alignment.

When someone is lynched, the game will go to 24 hours twilight to let hero play their ability.

When someone is lynched, heroes of the opposite clan of the person being lynched levels up. But do remember that despite leveling up is an advantage, your main objective is to lynch mafia (as town), survive (as survivor) or kill everyone (as scum).

During each cycle (day--twilight--night), you can only execute 1 non-passive skill.

One thing. You said in Phantom Assasain's Coup De Grace that there is 10% chance that the vote or the dagger will be twice more harmful. I think this needs to be clarified.

Suppose I vote on Frozen Angel, this means that my vote on Frozen Angel can either worth 2 x (10%) or 1 x. But what happens if now I unvoted and voted back at zMuffinFan. Will we roll the 10% chance again or it sticks back to the previous vote. Will the hero aware if his vote is 2 votes or 1 votes.

I want to say yes. and I want to say If a second lynch don't happen that day , his level will go on cooldown for a long time.(need to decide the long time thouh)

and your describe is nearly complete beside the fact people may choose their own picking style when their signing up and you only described the single draft mode.

and about PA , I meant the chance will be evaluated again so if you vote me and its only 1 vote and you vote someone else then you vote me back it might be a double vote again.

and no hero is not aware about the amount of votes his submitting.

Percentages make sense theme wise but if their making the game basterd , I like a way to fix them.

pedit : so lets not use them a lot. but PA ult is known for its lucky massive damage so I guess it must be based on luck.

those are great changes, I admit the Counter Helix is very powerful.
There would need to be a very long cooldown if you want to give him an extra lynch with his hammer. That's effectively a double day which is very powerful for town


I think Coup de Grac can be improved in this way:
The FIRST vote you cast in the day critically strikes and counts for two votes. These votes will remain in place when if you cast Stifling Dagger.

This would let them cast 4 votes but given its an ultimate would be awesome.

Or some modified that doesn't lead to endless voting and unvoting to get the effect, you know.

Oh you already agreed it needs a long cooldown.

To be honest having it happen only once a game would be nice.

If you really want a figure, 3-4 day/night cycles at least.

It might end in a triple day or something as well! But he needs to make a second lynch or he will loose his ult for a long time.

I liked your Idea for PA ult

pedit : I was thinking about giving it 5 cycle cooldown but let the effect continue if he is the one who is hammering people. (like a mass murder during the game?) :D

NotesYou may cast 4 votes on a slot using your first vote modifier and dagger during the day. if you have a gifted vote , your ultimate will double them as well causing you to be even more harmful.

I have 2 concerns with Crystal Maiden...

1. It says that Crystal Nova will make it's target cold. So what's the effect of being cold?

2. How Freezing Field work in practice? To be precise, how do we make the game anonymous?
