i heard that competitive teams typically run symmetra + mercy/lucio

symmetra's damage is too good

i really think there are tons of great situational picks

for example, on all 3 rounds in Lìjiāng, i was able to clear the entire site as reinhardt with just an accompanying mei a couple of times

there are times where certain guys are really good, like winston in the beginning of route 66 on offense, but his utility as a anti sniper sucks at the last leg due to how cramped everything is. typically i change over to junkrat to clear out the corners and get more control

i think they really wanted switching up to be a thing, but maybe i'm just bad

also i think pharah is almost 100% better than 76 in every situation besides maybe short corridors but even then pharah can stutter steps to fuck him up pretty easily

bastion is such a non problem with a well rounded team, but every so often switching into bastion and then setting up in a choke can be devastating for pushes on escort defense

disagree. its really hard to assess how well you're doing if you can't tell how well your teammates are doing. its obvious whenever someones not doing jack shit, but infinitely harder to improve yourself if you don't know how you compare

Zarya shield can save herself and one teammate from a lot of scary stuff. Like Junkrat ult. And she gets a huge charge off of it.

as a tandem to this, reinhardt and monkey shield works the same way. when they block damage and break, they still block all the damage from the tick that did them in

Character's I'd like to see

Doomfist = Tank Hand to hand character

Has 500 health

LMB Punch
RMB Projectile punch, while its launched out you can not regular punch or e ability until it comes back to you

E ability = AOE ground pound see trailer where kid does it to widow maker, have him gain some health based on damage this does
Shift = Fist Fade, like lucio's crossfade, but you switch between buffing your teamates defense only or increasing your attack power only (Savior or Scourge?)
Your defense is not buffed just your nearby teamates)

Ultimate = Doom Wall, Similar to Reinhart and DVAs shields. This shield blocks everything in front of it for a short time. Not just projectiles, and does not have a limit of how much damage it can block, its time based. Doomfist can use his rocket punch to attack while this shield is up. Dva and Rienhart can't attack during their shields

Sombra = Stealth Support

Ultimate = Turn invisible for short time

theres a reason why you can see even average players who use xim4 roll easily on console

You're physically limited in precision by using analog sticks

I'm not saying the fun you're having is invalid its just that kbm is quite obviously superior when it comes to shooters. It's why xim is banned for console pro play and controllers are not banned for pc pro play.

its industry consensus that for first person shooters that kbm offers an unfair advantage vs controller players because its faster and more precise. its not elitism. its fact. controllers are the wrong tool for a shooter.

i don't get how everyone can agree that fighting games on kbm is awful, but as soon as you say fps games on controller is awful people get themselves in a tizzy.

it might be more fun or be more convenient for you but you're holding yourself back in skill.

if ur rein shield and wait for a dps to take care of him

if ur roadhog u can hook combo os (hook + left click headshot + melee) him hes pretty easy to hit because he needs to be close for damage. if u miss tho ur dead in like 3 shots
