Are we allowed to host a mish-mash game which is "cross-forum"?
Basically, a game which has signup threads across multiple different forum boards (one of which will be MS naturally). All signed up players will be playing the same game, but it will
NOT
be mandatory to have a user in each of the different forums.

This is obviously aimed more toward games where discussing in the forum thread is less crucial as opposed to other factors (such as private communication which can be handled via QuickTopic).

It's okay privately inviting people from MS, but we're going to have to disallow making the game its own thread or advertising publicly.

I am considering putting together a Mario Party-like game. You know, if people would like that.

I don't recall a single successful Nomic game in my year here.

That idea's got a lot of potential! I'm interested to see where you'd take it.

Thinking of running a short bidding game that focuses on shooting (similar to raf, ferris wheel or elect the executioner).

The premise is that every player is given four cards (ranks/values to be finalized later), each of a different value - for example diamonds > hearts > spades > clubs. Then each round every player is allowed to publicly play a card or choose to not play a card. Simultaneously all cards are shown for that round and the highest ranked unduplicated card wins the round (or no one if all cards are duplicated). Cards once played are not returned and all remaining cards that players hold are made public. Winner of the round gets the gun and can shoot whichever player they'd like, who then dies and is removed from the game. Game continues until someone or no one wins (if all cards are played and more than one player remains). I'd have to test out the number of cards needed if there's more than 10 players though.

Interest?
Sup, later.

Hrm, considering there's now a shooting game set up, I'll wait a bit, but I will run this in the very near future.

Throughout the entirety of recorded history, there is one constant in humanity. We tell stories. Logically, if we didn't, history wouldn't exist. We'd live in just the present, nothing more, nothing less. Stories feed our curiosity. Our desire to learn. Our imagination.

Sometimes, the stories turn dark. Make us scared, anxious, nervous, filled with dread. Sometimes, they turn bright. Make us happy, uplifted, cheerful, filled with laughter.

Sometimes, they do both. Because sometimes, our stories, like life, are simple. And sometimes, they're no...
