I don't think that there's any puddles, and putting my hands in something that could be dangerous sounds like a bad idea.

If I'm free, throw the chair through the window, otherwise remove the rest of the binds.

Jump out the window, pin the guy down, and take his weapon. Demand at least one of the four tell us what is going on.

(If for some reason the one outside doesn't have a weapon, threaten to strangle him instead.)

Hmmm, maybe I misjudged the situation. Well might as well try to make the most out of this, and the fact that I have a hostage.

Hold sword to fallen guard's throat, while holding him in front of me. Say "I don't really want hurt you. If you stand back and provide a good reason for locking us up, I'll surrender." If possible, back away to a part of the wall where there isn't a window behind me while still keeping the guard hostage.

If they're taking your bonds off, you might not want to attack them. I kind of don't have a choice, as someone's already rushing me, but I'm still trying to diffuse the situation.

With a hostage. Hostages always diffuse situations.

Knock hostage out, then let him go. Assume defensive stance. "Okay. So, what do you want with us."

Also, since they're removing the bonds, I assume that they are supposed to be giving us plot or something. You shouldn't let your guard down, but going with an all-out attack might end up being counterproductive. I probably overreacted, so now I'm just trying to get away unharmed, and giving myself multiple options on how to do that.

Also, are there any rules regarding multiple actions in a single turn? In this case, since the ability to preform my next action relies on an NPC's reaction to the current one, I don't think I'd be able to do something that just assumes my action succeeds, like disarming him as he staggers.

Jump backwards at the last second, then shove the second guard into the first. Disarm as many guards as possible.

Run up and kick and/or step on the chest of one of the guards. Use any free time to scan their armor for weak points or holes, and strike at any found on the legs while trying to avoid doing permanent damage.

At this point, I'm fairly sure surrendering would be more helpful to everyone involved, including myself, but I really want to keep this sword.

Punch the injured one in the face, in an attempt to knock him out. To the other one, say "One last time, why are we here, and where are you taking us?"

So unhelpful. Anyway, if they're done attacking me, I'm not going to take the fight back to them

Examine surroundings. If nothing tries to attack me, loot the fallen guards, for as much as my inventory can hold.

Take some armor as long as they are wearing something else underneath it. Start walking towards the castle.

And now I get to do nothing for quite a few rounds.

And stop Annadog from stripping them.

Yeah, well I think people would be more suspicious of the swords, so I doubt it matters what we're wearing.

Head to the well instead, and try to figure out exactly what the portal is and how safe it is.

If I have some free time, attempt to psychically attack Annadog40.

Raise bucket.

Drop bucket in well, then raise it once it hits the bottom.

I guess the portal only has room for one person at a time, or something. Oh well, I think I'll just wait to see if Klazam gets those horses.

Check the nearby area for a more convenient container.

Though the well bucket is probably tied to the well, so you might want to drink it while you're here.

Scope out the Castle's defenses.

And also get my pet bird to attack Annadog.

Oh well. I still think it was worth it, if only for the reactions.

Though I have no clue what to do now. I'm not entirely sure I want to storm the castle, especially since it looks like diplomacy is the only option, and it's pretty clear that I have very little of that skill.

I'm starting to think we should go back to the Village. Or maybe we could try to go past the Castle, but for all we know there could be even less there.
