Pre-order watches delayed due to damage in transit ;_;

luckily Amazon should be shipping out the game on time, and Aksys is saying on Twitter that 90% of the Amazon warehouses have the game and ZTD should be in customers' hands by Tues, but I don't have a shipping estimate yet so I may just buy an extra copy Tuesday morning out of paranoia because I am HYPE

also here is a really sweet soundtrack remix album that's pay-what-you-want on bandcamp

also Danganronpa 1 & 2 are $40 total on Steam (usually $30/ea) for the summer sale, I've heard from multiple people that love Zero Escape that this series is amazing, so I'll probably grab them to play later

but just a heads up for anyone else who will probably want something to fill the void post-ZTD
besides Overwatch

Apparently Amazon orders are still delayed. Great communication, Amazon. Nearest Best Buy had nothing and GameStop had one copy, on reserve.

Looks like I'm buying it on the eShop.

About 5 hours in. I have theories that I won't post quite yet in case anyone lacks the self control necessary to not look at them.

Game's pretty fun so far though!

the digital root of 50 is 5, and Junpei was the main character, #5, of the first game...

we might be on to something guys

edit - the number 23 also appears everywhere and THAT digital root is 5

what does it MEAN

9558 blocks on 3ds.

Dunno what that is in actual units.

About 11 hours in, but I lost my stylus when out and about yesterday and honestly the dpad controls on 3ds are... clunky. Probably not playing much more til tomorrow.

Spoiler: Theory I had that I didn't post earlier, D Team "Fire" fragment iirc
I will be disappointed if Phi isn't Sigma and Diana's kid. Phi dying her hair from red to white seems weird to bring up. It makes Sigmas comments towards Phi in this game and VLR so much funnier (creepier) in hindsight. Diana knowing the meaning of Phi's brooch or whatever... Lots of scenes in this fragment point to that, and makes choosing between Sigma and Phi an interesting choice for Diana if this is the case. Also there's a scene but I forgot the fragment where
Sigma says something about Phi's parents being quite the characters or something, and the camera blatantly focuses on him and Diana when he says it
. Plus when asked about Phi in VLR, the creator basically said we'll learn about who she is in this game. So yeah. It's gonna be funny if I'm wrong.

No idea who Q or Zero are yet. Q being Quark seems too obvious. I can't wait to figure out what the hell is going on with Player Character as well because from some of Zero's comments that's gonna be some sort of big reveal.

Spoiler: don't open unless finished
holy shit I actually called Phi's identity wtf

the ENTIRE cinematic had me going "wait are you actually doing this, okay looks like we're actually doing this"

think I'm done playing ZE for tonight after that, wow. (still have a ways to go before I'm done I think)

I'm finding it hard to rank the three games. After thinking for a bit, I'd describe the series as two halves to the same coin - 999 is one half, VLR and ZTD is the other.

999 is the best standalone game, but VLR expands on the more meta aspects like the flowchart in a great way, and I even like ZTD a ton despite some questionable story decisions.
