Play Karma/Zyra and solo carry the lane. Utility based supports (janna/nami/soraka/etc.) aren't as strong until you reach around diamond-level so they're not worth picking most of the time unless you either really know what you're doing or are queueing with an adc you have synergy with.

Such a fan of dynamic queue. Found a group of people that are comfy in their role and we all climbed 2 divisions by playing together already. Am now Gold 3 aiming for plat. My 2 others smurfs in their promos for Gold 4

There's nothing that says that a fake can't beat the real thing.

Your toplane choices are fine, dont listen to Panzer. In a game where everyone wants to play carries, having a solid initiation champ thats also a tank works wonders. And you still have a strong lanephase with those. Malz and Brand are fine. New Sona and Nami are also super strong lane bullies even with a bad adc on your side.
Support definitely has more impact, it's far more frustrating being adc playing with a support that does nothing than vice versa imo

Basically, in lane support set up the adc to deal damage. Unless you are in extremely low ELO then your adc will almost know how to follow up, but if your support isn't either setting you up or protecting you you are basically playing 1v2.
Support dictates the early game in bot lane.
Support has a much easier time roaming to help snowball the rest of the map early on since they don't need to worry about picking up waves pushing towards them.
Those are two very important things when it comes to impact in the game; the support is a huge reason for bot lanes getting ahead snowballing the game.

I agree that for the first ~9 minutes, support is more important than ADC. That doesn't make it a good, healthy or interesting role. And it doesn't make it one that really has a direct impact on the game.

ya. In rare instances a good adc can do work, but it isnt too common

Alternate tank option if your jungler and top laner decide to go damage champs or someone cinderhulk doesn't work on; location for sustain for your ADC or your whole party (Sona, etc.); Location for good hard CC to lock down targets (Sona, Naut) or to just help amp other damage or provide some extra damage).
Still seems like you're a wardbot, though.
