Self-Ban?

So this feels a bit wierd in the asking and I guess wouldn't happen as a matter of course, but I thought I'd ask anyway.

If I thought I'd acted badly and impacted people or just wanted to be forced to take a break from here, what are the chances that I could request an IP ban for a set period?

I'm guessing this might currently be onerous and impractical because it'd need to be done manually but... egh. Asking in any case. I feel pretty bad about some interactions that happened a week-ish ago and am kind of struggling with how to make amends. Not even sure if this would do it but maybe me being out of here for a while would be a good thing. Bit lost.

I'm trying to self-regulate now but acknowledging and responding to this thread and not posting elsewhere isn't the same as disconnecting.

Like you'd go to the effort to ban someone who didn't want to be banned if they played up
