I, for one, am actually against massclaiming right now

Reasons being:

1)

The only reason I can see not to is that if two of them are town and scum want to mislynch one of the "stronger" towns, they just pile on the "weaker" one to force a lynch on that.

As fire said, its an easy lynchbait+daykill that would not have information.

Yeah sure town would be town, but assume the weaker half is town, scum would easily jump on their weaker, scummier half wagon and have a) an easy mislynch b) an easier strongtown kill that we can't even get a read on

2) It denies us interesting scum reaction to their lover's wagon.

Picture this, A is scum, B is town. A is a wide townread, B is a scumread. If it were a town-town pairing, A would be "sure lynch B as long as it would mean killing scum"
But if B, a scumread, is has been put to L-1, we'd see A defend the wagon because it means he's gonna get lynched.

Massclaiming denies us this reaction because we'd give scum an excuse of "Let's lynch other scums first since I'm a loss to town", which, is a clear loss to town one way or another.
