I was in there yesterday!
For me, it was the Lol talk that killed it. Any time any other conversation was happening the LoL people were on a break and took over the chat. It made it impossible for those not interested in LoL to have space to hang out. I thought it was a phase, as scumchat frequently went through but alas it wasn't meant to be. There are great memories from there - mostly Cayke saying stupid shit - and I'm sad that I don't get to hang out with the people in our clique more now.
I'll write a more positive memory filled post soon but I don't think Scumchat is dead yet.
