I'm higher on Eternal than I am on ES:L at this point, actually. A guaranteed mana every turn makes deckbuilding a bit too "free" for me and I still like doing things on my opponent's turn.jdodge1019: hasjghsalghsakljghs is from vermont

Eternal is another card game by the same developer which is closer to Magic than Hearthstone, but uses a lot of the digital design space that Magic can't at this point. You have to put "mana" in your deck of particular factions, but it uses a threshold system instead of the system where you deplete particular-colored resources that Magic has. Also most buffs are persistent, so if you have a 2/2 that is turned into a 3/3 while it's on the battlefield(unless it was explicitly a temporary effect or was an item), if it's returned to your hand you'll play it as a 3/3.
I've been really enjoying it. It has good PvE options as well as a great draft format for PvP that's closer to Magic Booster Draft than Hearthstone Arena. I may be streaming it on Thursday if you'd like to watch it a bit.jdodge1019: hasjghsalghsakljghs is from vermont

I'm a big fan of the Draft mode in Eternal. There's also a "PvE draft mode" called Forge, which is basically Arena, and then you only play against AI decks, which get harder the more successful runs you've had. The plus of both modes is you get to keep the cards you draft, which is a huge downfall for TESL/HS Limited for me.In post 6, xRECKONERx wrote:I do hate limited in both HS/TESL.jdodge1019: hasjghsalghsakljghs is from vermont

On ESL though, IloveSolo Arena. It's the right price with decent enough rewards, and lets me grind Limited, which is my favorite part of card games.
Can't quite do that in Eternal at the moment.jdodge1019: hasjghsalghsakljghs is from vermont
