Challenge 2: The Resistance

Okay, so literally the ONLY game that has a time that I

might

be able to be on is game 4.
Even then, that's iffy.

Like...I can't play any of the games requiring me to be up at 8 AM. (Pacific timezone is your friend. Eastern timezone is the devil.)
And I can't play on Tuesday thanks to Tae Kwon Do that night.

I had forgotten, good thing I was hanging around.

Is it 1 hour from now or 2 hours from now that it starts? (Well, 50 minutes or 1 hour 50 minutes, but that's a technicality.)

ITT we learn that rookies suck.
(Assuming that rookies are all the players on the right, there's a disproportionate amount of wins on the left.)

In comparison, of 18 vets, only 8 lost.)

Which is weird, considering the rookies have a higher proportion of people who actually play Mafia and this is a mafia-esque game.

I seriously think it was the marathon deadlines.

We're mafia players.
Not MARATHON mafia players.

I mean, in our resistance game, I felt like it was as brutal as I imagine face-to-face mafia is on mafiates: no time to react.
I've always been obvscum in marathon games, because I'm a word-deprived person and you're putting me on the spot to, live, think of things I need to say that will win, and that's not easy to do!

(Like, I think I've bussed my scumbuddies in literally every marathon game I've ever played, and hoped they'd win because I couldn't, and knew I couldn't.)

I actually do Resistance decently enough (it was one of the only Mash games I did before this!), but in a live environment, I am hilariously obvious as scum.
