Yes! We should do this UXYS(whatever number we're up to) style!

My feelings against this are that people are much more likely to have recency bias in voting for things to be cut, and we don't expect people to go back and read through Survivor: Destiny Islands if they weren't around for it. I think a UXYS would work for games of the past 2 years or something like that.
I'm assuming we'd do it after you complete the rankdown if it were to happen. Can't get write-ins if there aren't people left out. (although last two years would also work for that)

i don't know anything about Destiny or Seafoam islands, but at the moment my guess is Eon will survive the longest before being cut.

I'm going to be cutting Kairi before too long.
Well if you're going to respond like that, then I'll change what I'm trying to predict.

BotB will be the next game to lose it's first member.

That's the cut I was expecting to have arrived before now.

Now out of ones that haven't lost anyone I expect EtU.

I'm pretty sure only the final tribe compositions in doctor who are things that happened. Everything else is a different time stream.

Have there ever been any tribe-picking winners that have actually managed to pick a tribe that would actually benefit the end user?

I don't think Doctor Who managed it with the stress that was faced in whatever that first council was, and I can't be sure when mine didn't end up at TC. I suppose it might have since the people picking all survived through to merge.

Well, that depends on how you define winning. The example that comes to my mind, is when Mint Chocolate Chip 'won' the biggest loser competition and made a great tribe for himself in Pretty Super Vanilla.
I define winning as being given the task (or being given the second item that gave me the full control in Mario Bros). I forgot about PSV, possibly because it didn't end up turning out well with Rum Raisin (if they even picked).

So I could totally have done well with Billy if RSX was included in this thing.

I guess it doesn't matter yet as none of my characters are yet to be cut, I think I'm still safe enough for a while with the one i think will likely go first, or at least there's more cuts from it's game that will probably get to be made before it goes.

I like seeing me not get eliminated, and wouldn't have enjoyed being thrust into a "bottom 279" group without knowing further details of where those characters would sit.
Although I suppose I possibly will have some characters that make it that far.

Framm 18's lowest placed character needs fixing, someone decided it was non-Anon.

Also somehow Fred is listed as the lowest ranked person that finished 24th.

I did mean to type an "n't" in that, anyway I'll keep looking out for other mistakes if I see them.

My current hope is that I can place on top of the 19th placers, or at least I think it will be my best shot at getting top of one of the rankings. Although there's a chance one of the others could pull out a most interesting on tribe.

Toadette appears to be wrongly attributed to mastermind in the spreadsheet. (the game's wiki page says mastermind should have Toad)

I'm confused by these cuts, they're from games i don't know anything about, but they seem to me to not be things that happen from from the descriptions being given.

There are more forgettable characters out there still, or at least players I've forgotten as actually doing anything.

What do you mean?
I've forgotten. There's probably stuff that built character I never paid attention to anyway. I don't really know where all of that sits.

Probably sometime like how Agitha was cut again, when the reason for her been idoled featured other versions of the same thing.

Is that why it was arbitrarily decided I didn't want to finish sixth in a conversation with TBO in Doctor Who?

I think I'm going to have to go reread those conversations at some stage.

I feel that it was only dominant because of the HoH twist, although I don't actually know where Joe sat. I believe that if it was a free for all vote, me, Jenna & J'Tia would likely have had something going together though.
But with two of us up for elimination, there wasn't much chance.

I'm pretty sure my best character would still be Courtney.
I feel like Zeno would be on par with Rex for different reasons.
Sarah Jane is also around there somewhere.

At the moment I'm just waiting to find out how far Unown's coin flip has netted him.

I need to stop suggesting people cut me, Jonny went after I said he was dying soon as well.
I suppose it's good that i haven't decided which of my other characters would be next to die, they keep swapping.
Tbh, if Jonny had lasted longer, he would have been a better character than Unown.

Also by happenstance, both of our next games after Eon.
Which I think makes our relationship rather good through the games we've played together as a steady increase.

Doctor Who - we didn't get along at all. (I assume like how me and YT didn't get along in abridged because we were never in the same tribe before merge - based on my two trips into merge now, I don't think I'm capable of actually connecting to new people after that point)
Arkham City - we started liking each other, but it didn't end up working out.
Eon - I asked for an alliance, we both ended up being first votes on the next tribes.
Abridged - Finally together at the end. Ceph asked me for an alliance.

While we may not have the highest PM count, we uh have really really really long PMs. Like to the point, we have two separate PM chains, one for fluff stuff and another for serious things especially TC talks.
I almost went that approach with Porunga.

Somehow I have a requirement of doing at least one chain that eventually gets to 10 plus paragraphs in every game I've played.
Although I'm not sure I actually got that far with Radiohead in BotB. I need to check if my theory holds true with that reexamination. I may also have not quite made it to that level with white rabbit either actually. But you get the general idea. I'm not happy unless I have at least one wall.

I think everyone just forgot he existed as someone needing cut again.

A couple of weeks ago i thought Unown would have been safe until at least Tingle went, but still makes sense enough to follow quickly.

I suppose I get to be happy one of my characters managed to make it as a mention on a tribe list though :P
It means Boy Bands is my last untouched tribe. (well I suppose there's two since two different versions + Earth on Doctor Who (and it's three different incarnations)

I never spread lies about you, my lack of trust in you was totally a me thing as the basis of trying to get there (I read Tove as closer to Whitney and there were too many washouts around)

Well unless me telling Tove what I thought Teeth was trying to do with you counts as spreading lies about you?

I stood outside for a RSX challenge.

Obviously it wasn't as cold as Xof's experience (location and time of day), but it did require a bike ride into the next town. Although I was only outside because my library closes at 1 on Tuesdays. I think I had to switch between multiple wi-fi points

5 games left that haven't had a jury member cut yet. (Sky Pillar, Doctor Who, Arkham City PSV and Eon)

Spoiler: attempt at guessing which of these will be the last surviving complete jury
Next to go (first of each jury)
Birthday Cake - Pretty Super Vanilla
Gyarados - Sky Pillar (I have no idea and haven't read that game, 6th place looks good to me)
Greninja - Eon
Arm-Fall-Off Boy - Arkham City
Stormageddon - Doctor Who

I am not confident in any of these, but i need something else to predict and these are probably still all ages off and are more based around where I feel their impacts in the game lead rather than direct entertainment value which I don't feel confident in judging

I almost cut myself in Doctor Who, that was a tought crowd, but I decided to ignore the fact I was there.

I can change to Cherrim for Shy Pillar based solely on posts in the confessional, but i still know nothing about that game.

I think I also remember someone mentioning it would have been better for just the past two years worth of games.

Which I think possibly would have worked better. Let's do this again in two years with DBZA games onwards.

If we want to finish off this one quickly (hurry it up to top 100), we just need someone (more likely many people) to post information about each of the older characters newer people don't know anything about, and then vote on that. I think it would still have a recency bias, but it would enable some past peeps to survive a massive cull.

I should probably ask mods to choose a character for me next time I know nothing about the theme or characters within the theme. But then we probably wouldn't have ended up with Zeno. (or even Rex, although I barely decided on not asking for an idk option then)

I just read through my rankings of that game. I'm not seeing that he was all that great through that.
Although I also don't think I had very good images of what was actually going on. Possibly why I haven't done power rankings since that first game I spectated.

Any connection I had to Clock King was to try and insure I didn't receive his vote. I wanted him dead that first time.
Death Row the first tribal ended early and I was likely to maybe save him then.
I don't remember making my conversation with White Rabbit purposefully longer, but truth be told, it probably interfered with my communication with the rest of the tribe.
I also happened to be busy the day I left the main game and therefore couldn't connect with the tribe that had joined us.

I think Death Row then taught me what I actually needed to be a better player when I was too caught up in schemes, but not actually letting my allies know which ones were true.

The ghost twist although I only lasted one round probably also helped.

That's because you killed me when I was switching alliegence and turning on V.
When I died I was looking at Rex/Lincoln/Star/Hatter as the four I was going forward with, but previous planning that round sent me to the grave.

Yeah that, and then reacting to trying to vote out V.

They Two-Face blindside was still fun though and totally worth it

In post 1954, Radja wrote:I have to disagree here. On Courthouse, Red Arrow was very well liked and I had a three way alliance with James Gordon and Arrow. Because of the split after Courthouse, Arrow found himself on a tough tribe and maybe got a little less active. I don't remember exactly because we got split up.

Either way I was definitely entertained. It may not have been Drench's most entertaining game but I really liked Arrow.
I tend to agree than Red Arrow was much better at the start, imo I thing he basically did the opposite of Rex (besides Rex overplaying) of where he sat with people.
I beleive I enjoyed him in the cell block, but not so much with the brief interactions in death row.
