UberNinja actually was pretty cool in the game. People liked him, he was doing well. And then he quit. THE END.

383. Bane 1.0 (D3f3nd3r) - Arkham Asylum

For now, just lie relatively low, try to find an alliance, and go from there.

It's kinda hard to lie low when your tribe accuses you of throwing a challenge in a game and blindsides you for it. Minimum Security 1 was kind of a mess in how they organized the challenge and Bane messed up what he was supposed to be submitting. When they lost, the tribe blamed Bane for it and assumed he was purposefully sabotaging the challenge. And he went out instead of the person who was largely inactive and quit the next round. He didn't even know why he was voted out until Two-Face joined him in the pre-jury forums. When it was time for returnees to come back, he almost made it back into the game and it was incorrectly announced he was back before a recount of the votes showed that it was actually Ace the Bathound who was back in and not Bane.

(I'm still sorry for that!)

Nah but really, reading through Yumi's confessional now is a fun look at young, naive CC. I had a conversation with Jamie (Klick) in there about how all the winners and people who make it far seem to be the exact same type of player, which is funny because 1) I still have that belief now and even young CC was picking up on it and 2) that was essentially my main argument at FTC as Zod, how it's time for a new type of player to win. Some things never change.

But Yumi was a fun UTR presence early on in the game, then she quit as CC characters tend to do. A lot of potential for a better character, but it was unmet.
