I like rb, gameplay, pitoli, and Naomi (Expedience) for town. I think Dier and Chuck could be town as well but not as confident on those.

Saru and Martha are null. So is Ryan but he is more on the scummy side of null.

Cass and Golden are current scum reads. I'm hoping people start pressuring either of these slots soon otherwise you should all feel bad.

What a weird Appeal to Emotion.

I have been awful this game too. But I would not offer myself up to be lynched. That's totally against my wincon ... and against yours as well, and you shouldn't even say that unless you're trying to appeal to emotion.
In post 2533, BlueBloodedToffee wrote:VOTE: math

I can do this.
In post 2554, BlueBloodedToffee wrote:We should lynch Math quickly.
And when I asked "why 'quickly'?", he responded:
In post 2561, BlueBloodedToffee wrote:Quickly so nobody realises I scum.
Also:
In post 2541, BlueBloodedToffee wrote:Guessing who Exp jailed is worthless.

Did he jail a town read or a scum read is the first question. And we just can't answer that.
This would be the exact kind of thing scum would say if they wanted people to ignore the jail.

Expedience could easily have tried to jail the "cop" to protect him.

BBT didn't want people to grok that. So much so that he didn't even press me on it, though that should have been a valid line of questioning, except for the fact that if I flipped (VT, yes that's me claiming, by the way) then people would have known to look elsewhere, and his name would have popped up as a front runner.

Also, I don't think he ever questioned SpyreX's claim, so that's scummy too. He doesn't speak of it hypothetically... he KNOWS he got jailed. So he tried to get other people to ignore it.

So, then,
Intent to vote BBT.

This actually makes much more sense than rb.
Sorry for being paranoid (I still feel paranoid, lol).

Half of me is screaming "this is a trap, they're both scum"

The other half is shushing them wildly and being like "no that makes perfect sense you're just being dumb"

So yea Saru is still safest lynch today in any case.

The nightkills line up too.

If you're scum with BBT and House, then I hate you even more.

Actually, you voting me right out the gate, again with no reasons, makes my choice easy. It also explains why there was no quick hammer on you yesterday, when rb voted you.

In any case, I did a lot of reading overnight. Just to make sure.

And even if this vote is wrong, which I don't think it is, I'd much rather lose to rb, because he actually put in effort this game.

Nah it's cool take your time. I doubt you will choose wrong so I'm not too worried about it.

I will say though, that in my experience, looking for scum in buddies' ISOs is generally less fruitful than going through the game and ISOing each player themselves, and also looking at votecounts. See if the way they are playing makes sense for what they believe (or claim to believe) at the time. And also look if they are voting for popular wagons or whether they actually believe what they are pushing.

Not saying that will help you choose to vote him, but it's a better method than looking through scumbuddies' ISOs in my opinion.

For my alignment, check the character in my avatar.

For my role, look up a little and check my user title.

And finally for my amusement, click this link please.

Aw yeah. After all this time......
I still got it.

Thanks Accountant. Decent job modding. Don't worry about the vote count errors, they happen to every mod.

I invited you right after gameplay replaced out. I wanted ScumSpySpy with me and Saru. That'd've been tech, no?

But ffff we got House and had to adapt. He did his job though all things considered.

I felt bad so I left you alive an extra night and also gave you the hammer on Saru as recompense for *giggle* my misdeeds. I hope that was enjoyable for you, to hammer scum and go out with a bang. And then with another bang. ;)

Sorry, though. I was very excited to play scum with you for the first time in forever.

Obviously. :D Well done for your part. Not a huge fan of your play style, but ehhhh adapt and overcome right? Anyway I was a little emotionally compromised at that particular moment, what with the death in the family and all. My apologies for anything I said out of line.

Kind of sad to see you and Saru fighting in the dead thread though. All's fair in love and mafia, c'mon!

Chuck, the second argument is an argument I've thought myself to look out for. Usually, scum would be the one that would say that because that's a common purpose of their night kill, to paint someone else as scum. I doubt I'm wrong here as Vedith did it in my first game here, and he flipped scum. VOTE: Chuck
Can't believe I was right all along.
This is easy to say if you've suspected each person in the game at least once (which every good town player should have). The proof is in the pudding that lots of people suspected me all throughout and yet I still survived and won the game for my team.

It's also easy to point fingers at who is responsible for/to blame for what, after you've replaced out of a game. If you didn't stick around to help win it, or at least stayed until the bitter end, then you lose all those privileges.

I'd say it's especially bad form to do this after replacing out for the reasons you did:
In post 1852, RyanK wrote:
@Mod:
Replace me out. I've got other more worthwhile things to do.
In post 1855, RyanK wrote:I'm replacing out because I'm interested in [redacted].
I mean, I dealt with some tragic loss this game, a real life cut short, and even I stuck around, to see things through.

Kids these days. Get off my lawn.

Winning at mafia has various logical underpinnings which can be measured many ways based on many variables.

One could say facetiously that it is as simple as:

1. Be good at mafia.
2. Don't be bad at mafia.

Or ... one could say it is a mixture of drawing the right alignment and having the right teammates and knowing what the optimal play is for each situation and knowing how to use any power role you might have to its optimum usefulness and being in the right place at the right time with the right teammates and being active enough but not too active and reading each and every single one of the opposing players' personalities and playing in a way that will make the greatest amount of them town read you at any given juncture and being accurate in your scumreads as well as charismatic enough to get people to sheep your reads but also nonthreatening enough to avoid nightkills so you can give town your best guesses at the most critical moments while also avoiding stepping on anyone else's toes or rubbing large personalities the wrong way regardless of your or their alignment all while following all the rules and not alienating your significant other for being on the computer or your phone too often and also being covert enough not to get the site blocked on your workplace's internet provider... and that's just scratching the surface.

There's a reason I've been playing this long.

It is incredibly interesting, imperfect yet intrinsically, intimately intricate, and impossibly, inexplicably inimitable.

It's worth studying... and studying well. It'll teach you a lot about people. It'll teach you a lot about yourself.

V stands for Five. I stand for One. So, in a sense, yes, that is appropriate.

However, I am certainly not his brother... You might say I am his... father.
