Holy sweet Christ, this thread is a hot mess. Quoted is practically the only thing that's been said so far that has been informative and worth the time it took to read it. Including my earlier post - I skimmed playerlist, checked votecounts in mod ISO, and then didn't take the level of insane in this playerlist seriously. If I'd read even the first two dozen posts, there's nothing doing with the Aeronaut quickwagon. My mistake.

We PL on my HS for many reasons and they are a good thing. It demands town play better, it makes the game more fun and less a clusterfuck. It makes scum have a tighter game, it makes town have to actually work on making a case against someone.

It doesn't happen often because everyone knows and generally plays tip-top, but if you pulled half the shit that goes on on MS on my HS, you'd be dead in a heartbeat.

Team game = cooperation. Pine understands.

New players show up and do shit that is not culturally sound and we let them know, and they either adapt or leave. It's nice.

and i've regretted not policy lynching a couple times when some lurkerscumfuck or someone just trolling nonstop won the game as scum because no one wanted to 'policy lynch' when actually it's not policy, it's lynching a slot that's having zero pro-town impact on the game and that's as likely to be scum as town regardless of what anyone says. and if it's not, it's the only way people learn to stop being anti-town fucks

p-edit: pls don't answer for other people before they do, I have the bad habit of doing this but it's important that ppl give their own reasons for things or it becomes a clusterfuck to sort slots and especially cumbersome when trying to re-read the game with new information (from NK's, flips etc.)

I catch myself doing it sometimes when I feel it is more likely that what is going on is a genuine misunderstanding, and rather than it devolving into bickering because it becomes convoluted, sometimes it's good for another to step in. At their own risk of course! But it can be the pro-town thing to do, and as long as that is your motivation it should be readable as genuine rather than trying add to the fuckery.

Sorry, that was half a post. My vote's on KTS right now because of the blatantly scummy antics described above. Granted, they're displayed by lots of players so far, but it's most pronounced with KTS. Bullying and browbeating are inherently scummy and antisocial, so I'd like to see him gone. It's a pretty weak read too, because I've seen Town do this on numerous occasions as well.
