It jumping to the top of the page means the javascript isn't running. Do you have javascript disabled? If its enabled try a normal refresh after it fails once, not a hard refresh.

I didn't actually work on this so take everything I'm saying with a grain of salt.

I dont think I ever announced this, but I worked out all the quote bugs like a month back, so if you run into any irregularities let me know.

Sigs longer than 3 lines now get auto 'spoilered' using the new hide/show feature.
Removing the use of actual spoiler tags from sigs now that the automated ones exist.

You can disable all bold and color in sigs from the UCP here : http://forum.mafiascum.net/ucp.php?i=prefs&mode=view This will only effect how you see sigs.

Also going to experiment with making this a global announcement for a few days whenever I add something.

Increased the limit to 4, unlikely to go any higher. May incorperate it into the option for disabling color/bold in sigs, If I were to do that I'd likely make the option on by default instead of off as it currently is.

Firstly, I've always been open to tinkering with things bob, what I wasn't open to was your demand that I completely remove the feature until I had it exactly how you wanted.
Secondly, anis 'protest' is delt with by the new option I added that everyone seems to have missed. His sig seems perfectly reasonable to me atm. (though I'll likely have to change that so that I can see if it needs to be removed, sad days)
Thirdly, this idea was miths. I obviously chose all the specifics of implementation as I programed it but he oked the final product. As such I'm not at all likely to scrap the entire thing unless he explicitly told me to. I am open to the idea of either making it optional or only spoilering lines in excess of 4, as I already said.

Can you point me to the specific case where its disabling the bold for you in posts? Cause I have the option on and can still see bold/color in posts. Also which style are you using?

I destickied the thread because I thought I had heard enough? I do plan to make turning it OFF optional (tied in with the color and bolding option) as soon as I get around to it.

Mastin, evertthing you've stated as a negative were design intents. Its suposed to include new lines, they stretch the page just as much as text. Signatures are suposed to be less powerful and after thoughts. That you happen to find signatures more important than posts is weird, but you expecting that to be the norm is completely unreasonable.

Just added three things.

1: You can now report a message even if its previously been reported. This should have no visible change on your end unless you are a mod but still good to actually inform you all of it.

2: The color indicators for whos read a PM should now be in place, this is intended to be used when you send a pm to more than one person to see whos actually picked it up.

3: The default start time for a V/LA is now the current date.
