I liked Fallout 3. 4 felt like they were trying to replicate the success of Skyrim with half the effort. Skyrim Special Edition is the real cash-in though

I managed to get through a playthrough of Skyrim with a mod that replaced the spiders with wolves or whatever fucking animal because I was fucking terrified. The corpses still showed up though and that fucking loading screen got me every time. Brilliant game but I can't touch it anymore.

Waiting on RB, let's talk Bethesda games!

I downloaded Skyrim SE when it came out (I got it free because I have all the DLC for the original) but I don't play it. It's still kind of buggy on my laptop, and there are some mods that haven't been recreated that I'm too attached to.

omg what's ur modlist

I have interesting npcs and immersive armors and inigo and arissa cuz that's all my laptop could handle and now no longer can.
And civil war overhaul which glitched right when things were getting good.

And also sofia but that is such a shit mod after a week that I lost track of where she went.

I'll keep up to date with the current posts, but until I finish reading the rest of the thread, my reads will be based off current events.

Seems like this game is heading fast towards end game, but right now I am extremely interested (as most people are) to find out who RB was onto last night.

Anyway, going to continue reading and will post asap. If you have any questions you would like me to answer, go ahead and ask :)

Fallout is a computer game series, 1+2 are classic RPGs of depth and integrity - totally awesome, some of the best video games ever made

3, New Vegas, and 4, are soul-less money-grabs of re-hashed IP that, imo, are blasphemous dishonorings of the originals that I wish were never created
I feel the newer games put a fresh spin on the shooter genre.

3 was an okay shooter (it had some moments, if you didn't use VATS), but was pukage in my face because of all the blasphemy to Fallout (just was 'empty' - all of the stuff was there, but it had no soul, is the simplest way I can put it) - I mean I could go on and off about 3 and NV for a while but would prefer not...4 I never played but saw played and know about well enough to know that I will just stay away. Not that I was inclined before I saw gameplay or anything.

I liked it initially, until I realized I was just playing an FPS and that was watering down the action and I stopped using it nearly as much (sure in instances it was super handy, especially when you were just like WTF is whatever.)

running backwards dropping fragmines while being chased by whichever were the worst radscorps was some of the most fun in that (especially when you run into raiders) - using VATS just spoiled all the fun!

I used it though, of course, and loved seeing the bodies splode slomo, but, still, gimicky, watered down FPSing for those not good at FPS, which, is fine, and, ya know, I get it/the appeal (hey, I played), just, meh, not for me. I sold my CE of 3 and NV ages ago for goooood bucks, they were good investments!!!

I hated the AI lol would be in firefights and dudes just running straight up to you from 50 feet away spraying with no concern. Half-Life 1's AI was better than that LMFAO

Also I used my 1-shot Follow on Shadow_Step on Night 1 - he used a kiling action, that's why I wanted to run him up to lynch ASAP. With only one kill for the night there's a very minor chance he was a town vigilante but I was 99% sure he was mafia.

So my insane reads aren't really that insane, I was right day1 and I got guilties 2 nights in a row.

I guess you could say it's read related because I targeted my top scumreads but I'm not sure I would have tried to powerlynch Shadow with quite so much effort (or would I).

So looks like dave is setting himself for a motivated doc claim. Though not sure why he wouldn't have just claimed in this post. Are we gonna want a doc to counter?
