Vote Aeronaut

I usually take theme games at face value, but let's be safe.

Okay! Aero seems not to be a valid voting target, so no bastard (or at least not that flavor of bastard).

Vote 1SVT

We've spoken of this before. Voting NL is an anti-Town action except in very specific circumstances.

Not really, but I'm trying to discourage 1SVT from the practice of voting NL frivolously. If you don't treat non-serious anti-Town actions harshly, they won't learn. NLing robs Town of its primary agency, and I don't want to see it treated trivially.

I can't really elaborate.

Suffice to say, I loathe the practice of voting NL, outside extremely specific circumstances, and wish to discourage taking it lightly. I don't have anything else on 1SVT, and if he moves on to an RVS vote, so will I. There are some sites that advocate NL on D1, on the theory that you can't learn anything without a flip. I think that's bullshit, and an abdication of Town's primary means of winning the game.

Also, I have reason to believe that NLing in MYLO is also a bad idea. The standard MYLO is 3 Town to 1 Scum. NLing gives the Scum the opportunity to choose his LYLO opponents, whereas in MYLO a unanimous vote is required. In LYLO, scum can just wait for one of his chosen opponents to vote the other, then hammer. I wouldn't condemn people who NL in MYLO, as that is a conventionally-accepted option, but in my eyes NL should be reserved for the rare case of unusual mechanics or numbers which make it advantageous to Town. This isn't one of them.

NL is certainly not in the best interest of town. However, this is RVS and I've seen him do that before as other alignments. For him, it isn't alignment indicative.
I agree. Voting is a disincentive right now.

I've got nothing else to go on, so I'm going to indulge my own idiosyncrasies.

Thank you for adulting, 1SVT. Give Sick/Piss a pass on their issue, which is ironically just as self-indulgent and theory-based as mine (theory in RVS = scum!) I intend to.

Unvote

Actually, srs vote

VOTE: Creeps

There's been a good deal of voting on principle against bad play, but that doesn't look like pigheaded prissiness (which my vote on 1SVT could fairly be called), it looks contrived.

Wtf are you talking about? I don't know what game you're referring to. The accusation of voteparking is kind of left field and plays into the cheap attacks I'm talking about. If I wanted to votepark, I'd have just kept my vote on Creeps. It was (and is) justified, and I could easily "forget" to move it. Instead, I'm calling out a difficult target with no real support on my side. Kinda the opposite of a safe votepark.

Nonsense.

The algebra wagon is stupid. It has no real basis. The only good reason would be the self-vote, and we're all doing silly things in jest in this thread. That's part of why you're so off-putting, because you're throwing out crappy attacks a mile a minute instead of being methodical.

And what the fuck game are you talking about where we played together? I don't recall any significant interaction between us.

No. While I don't have Townreads on either, I don't see any good reason to SR them either. They're both lazy wagons. Further, I think that if either was on scum, there would have been a more concerted effort to push the other. The stagnancy of both suggests they're both Town. While I despise No Lynches, it's preferable to a mislynch.

D1 no lynch is preferable to a Town lynch, but still very undesirable. I believe I was clear about that.

You bus on D1 for
distance
. When you came in, the shaddow wagon was stalled and on the decline. You glommed on to it to put distance between you, but it backfired when people joined back up. At that point, you can't unvote because it would be SUPER obvious post-flip. Sorry, this happens to us all sometimes.

PEdit: Grey had his head up his ass about other stuff at the time. You didn't think it would work, and were mining towncredit. There's no way you have that strong a read on shaddow without outside knowledge, he had done literally nothing scummy. That's why I was TRing him so hard.

Ugh, what the fuck ever. I despise Towns like this, who are so high off the smell of their own sweet-smelling shit that they don't listen or try to use logic.

I'm Don Draper from Madmen. I grant the Strong-Willed modifier to someone each night. I gave it to algebra last night, I figured he wouldn't have been the counterwagon to Shaddow if he was scum.

Best guess is that there's a lucky framer out there, because you're right, scum Umlaut doesn't 1v1 me right now.

I'm pretty serious, I think Cloudkicker is probably scum. Fuck this game though

Whatever, Cloudkicker. I could present you with a gold-engraved note from God Himself, delivered by a chorus of angels singing Hallelujah telling you that you're wrong, and you'd rage and whine about how right you are. You are the absolute worst kind of Mafia player. One that isn't necessarily wrong, but that doesn't entertain the possibility that they might be.

I'm out. GG to scum, that frame was well placed. Announcing cop targets with a likely framer in the mix is beyond moronic

Umlaut, do me a favor - don't do what the crowd is telling you. Follow your own initiative, and don't get directed. Certainly not publicly.

PE: You're clearly here to masturbate to your own ego, jackass.

In the quote you just posted, it clearly allows for something like Godfather, Miller, Framer, Tailor etc. Selective holding doesn't change that.

Nvm I misread it. My role references misdirection, however, so that's my new theory.

He's not. There's literally no reason for him to 1v1 me. It's suicide when I flip Town. You said so yourself.

I think his investigate got redirected. My role implies that redirection is in the game, and it'd be a hell of a lot more effective than roleblocking the cop. I got screwed here.

PEdit: Did yo even read the Strong-willed wiki entry? It makes them immune to roleblock and redirection. Ergo, redirection is probably in the game, as it explains everything.

Lynch Cloudkicker. This is my point, it's impossible to have any conversation other than his while he lives. This kind of self-obsessed masturbatory posting is massively anti-Town

Fuck this game. I'm just resigned to it at this point, as there's no chance I don't get mislynched with a false guilty on me.

Lynch Cloudkicker next, please. Do me a favor and don't hold it against Umlaut, I'm fairly confident he got redirected onto scum.

Off chance that the redirector is Town, please claim tomorrow and tell us who you redirected onto, there's scum too.

GL Town.

Ugh, I did an absolute shite job this game. I went way too far overboard to retrieve Shaddowez, which left me exposed, which exposed Jackel/Malakittens. Town did a great job picking up on all the dropped balls, of course, but terrible performance on our part. A little disgusted with myself.

Good game, Town.
