Trash setup, though.
Two Mafia + Traitor in a setup with a Vig/PGO?
Garbage.
Trash.
Filth.
Aero's play looked straight-out like a traitor claim.
This is probably the shittiest D2 we could've had short of our team being wiped out on N1.
Garbage.
Trash.
Filth.

To be honest, Dreal;
You're not that great. You should really be more transparent as town. Your reluctance to post reads and other content when asked would be something I'd be critical of no matter what align I was. The way you handled your claim and post-claim play was all sorts of bad and, ultimately, didn't help town out very much.
I just went full-tilt pushing you in an all-or-nothing play.
I should've played far more passive because Wisdom and my doctor roles should've indicated to me that there were kills outside of our own.
Furthermore, I figured that Aero was a PGO if not our traitor and I lost on that gamble as well.

My hope was to:
If Aero was Traitor, recruit with our kill, which would look like me protecting Aero to the tracker that I correctly guessed was on me.
If Aero was PGO, to at least get that info out for my ally because I was likely to be lynched the next day anyway.
But, alas, I didn't expect Aero to be a BP SK or whatever the heck he is.

You didn't do anything, though. I was the one who instigated on you.
Your play had no bearing on how poorly Wisdom and I bungled things.
Were this a different setup where non-scum players didn't have kill-access, I could've gotten an easy mislynch on you and come out of it alive, too.
You didn't kill me. Aero--or my garbage kill on him--did. You didn't do anything to catch Wisdom. Wisdom's play in regards to me, combined with my overnight scum flip and his folding are what contributed to his demise.

Had you managed your claim and applied actual pressure onto my slot, you could've come out of things looking quite town and even leading a D1 lynch on me.
You didn't. Instead, you propped rhetoric that made several players willing to lynch other townies who supported you.

I'm trying to give you advice so that you don't leave this game thinking you're some ace.
Play more transparently.
When pushed up to claim at L-1, simply claim.
Posting off-site content like youtube videos as a part of a claim is actually rules-breaking anyway and can catch you a ban, nevermind being extremely poor form and anti-town.

Posting content that is hosted off-site with the intent for it to stand in as game material is often seen as a rules-breaking offense. In this game, you clearly intended for the revealed nurse in that MASH scene to indicate that you were a Nurse in this game. First of all, the scene included nudity and this is a site that prohibits such posting. Furthermore, not every player may have had access to the content you linked--either due to youtube viewing access or if the video happened to be taken down for any reason. Ergo, by linking to that video, you have ensured an unfair advantage to some players.
I fully own how awful my play was this game. As I said, I'm giving you advice.
As another piece of advice; bragging about something you did not do is unbecoming.

I was able to see the video--I was joking to push you to claim in a concrete way and to highlight that you shouldn't be seriously claiming a la youtube video. To each their own, though.

Yeah man, it's all G.
I own my loss here--I played miserably and, even given setup shenanigans, I can't excuse how poorly I approached D1.
I'm interested to see how the game plays out, though.

Yeah, that's a lot of confirmed/soft-confirmed townies. D:
I feel bitter over Pie snaggin' me. Called me out on a lot of stuff I would've just done as town anyway. T_T
I kinda hope Traitor-Pisskop takes this to the moon and makes this the resulting troll-game you were lookin' for. I mean, 2 scum defeated in a single night/day with no kill is kinda, y'know, well done if that was the goal, I guess.

I've had to be more strict against players using off-site media intended as game content. It's in the field of 'encrypted text' when only a handful of players can access it or 'capable of deleting/editing posts' if the video can be deleted at any time. I've had games where players themselves have uploaded long audio/video clips and that is, I feel, an unfair element to add to the game as well. I think pictures, so long as they are stably hosted and viewable, are fine, but anything that you need to navigate off-site for skirts the line far too much, especially in the case of when said content is intended to be a part of the game.

In post 80, drealmerz7 wrote:I also guess it depends on the playerbase, because on my HS we link videos and shit all of the time when we play and there are never any issues. We respect each other and the game, you know?
People link videos a lot here, too.
Like I said, it's usually cool when it's a joke or something, but having it be a critical part of your claim/game content could run you into some issues that I've seen come up on site before.

Well.
Yeah.
I misread a lot about the setup, myself. I saw our Faith Healer thing as evidence that the game had other percentage roles and, likely, some way to track us or rolecheck us so that we could coast on a role-related scum doctor clear. The reality was just that we were intended to be 50% bulletproof, which is awkward, given the tracker thing existing anyway. I didn't expect town to have a vig or kill protection, especially given the claimed backup IC thing.

I've seen and modded games with a large variety of traitor interpretations.
I think the most important thing is just to be clear to the scum team about the nature of their traitor, since it varies so much.

Mod rules generally specify quoting rules, typically in-line with the usual rule about quoting private messages from the moderator.
From my own game rules:
"You may not quote private topic or other out-of-game discussion (such as Hydra chats) in the public game thread, regardless of if the quotes are real or fabricated. Paraphrasing is acceptable.
You can always copy and paste the full content of your own posts (outside of moderator communication) so long as it does not contain any links to where it came from or any timestamps.
You may only ever paraphrase posts made in private topics by other players and this is also subject to the same link/timestamp restriction."
