they hand out keys on the playdota.com forums, 180 every day

furion is the ONLY hero you mentioned that is even a little bit imbalanced

even then, he needs to be able to last hit like a god to fully take advantage of his skills

yeah, sure there are some good aesthetic changes in source, but give me a choice on which to play seriously, ill always pick 1.6

the game isn't balanced around MM/pubs bro

pl is fairly easy to counter, as any decent aoe gank will keep him down

you mention lancer/furion but you never mentioned antimage? hes got 50% magic damage reduction at level 1

Spectre had a bit of competitive play, but has sort of died down as of the late.

She's good in pubs because nobody stops her.

Maybe because I always get shitty ass noob pubs who like trying to steal CS from spec when I play her.


Also, I never knew how nice it was to play dota2 without sound. So much less annoyign with no sound.

Brewmaster is a fantastic beginner hero. He's easy to play, he's strong even without great farm, and literally all of his abilities make him harder to kill.

Viper is also pretty good too.

dk is far easier for the reasons you listed

aoe nuke, long ass stun, free hp regen, huge str gain and the kicker is right click ult

thd, ogre, treant, drow, jug, wr, lina, tide, sand king, veno, loa are all good heroes to start out with

i hope something of their own creation gets implemented
